TODAY, THE MOST HIGHEST OF RELIGIOUS TREASON TOOK PLACE. [CAKE]TYBERIOUSTHETHIRD ATTEMPTED TO MINE THE "CRANE" FLAGSHIP "HONOUR THY CRANE". TO CAUSE SUCH DISTURBANCE ABOARD THE HOLIEST OF CRANE ARTIFACTS IS PURE BLASPHEMY AND TREASON OF THE HIGHEST FORM.
LUCKILY, THE FLAGSHIP "HONOUR THY CRANE" MANAGED TO CREATE A WEAK TREATY WITH THE BLUE (ENEMY) TEAM, AND ESCAPED UNHARMED BESIDES SOME BURNS AND SCRATCHES.
WE MUST TAKE ACTION AGAINST THIS HERETIC IMMEDIATELY.
WE HAVE ALSO RECOVERED THE COMM LOGS ABOARD THE "HONOUR THY CRANE", WHICH STILL HAVE ABOUT HALF THE BATTLE'S COMMUNICATION'S LOGGED ON IT. WE WILL LET YOU PREVIEW THEM HERE TO SEE HOW SERIOUS THIS FILTHY HERETIC IS.

This belongs in the pit, doesn't it?
Well feel free to move it

THE "HONOUR THY CRANE" IS A SYMBOL OF HOPE AND FUTURE, THE BIGGEST EVER IN FACT. THE ENTIRE PLANET WOULD BURST INTO WAR SHOULD IT BE EVEN HARMED.

Well it already, your crane has not stopped the war yet

THIS IS DUE TO THE NON-BELIEVERS, MY SON. BUT THE CRANE WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL AS IT CONTINUES DESTROYING VESSELS OF GREATER AND GREATER POWER TO MEND THE PLANET

I personally prefer launching with a mine, then flaming them until it explodes

Give her a helmet and she might as well be Samus' sister.
-
Give her a helmet and she might as well be Samus' sister.
Is Samus an orphan girl who took nuns vows to fight for the expansion of the human empire, revere the god emperor of humanity, and kill all the heretic aliens? Without any genetic modifications, and just training and equipment?
-
... I meant more along the lines of badass girl in power armor.
Samus is half-Chozo. The Chozo are alien bird people. Samus is therefore half alien bird person.
LOGIC???
Meh. I guess they can't be sisters.

I cannot tell if you are being intentionally literal or not. Just in case, pretty sure Koali only meant the looks.
And ignore this, he defended himself before I was done typing.

SHE IS A SISTER OF BATTLE GODDAMNIT
Only Shadedexalt can match Davidgra's level of rage.

I mean from fuck's sake it's not hard to remember!
Tyranids
Orks
Eldar
Tau
Necrons
Chaos- Slaanesh, Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, Chaos Undivided
Imperium of Man- Space Marines (too many chapters to list) Imperial Guard, Ordo Hereticus, Ordo Malleus, the Assassinorum, too many to fucking name
You know what?
There are beings angrier than me and Davidgra.
The ANGRY MARINES!!

I dont know a lot of 40k, i know more of the fantasy version. Vampire Counts ftw!
-
Imperial Guardsman > Vampire Count
-
Bah, i'll just kill him then raise him as my own minion
-
Not if he lasers your face off.
-
ahem, i dont do the 40k, but i see your laser and raise you a magic missile
-
I forget are sisters of battle actual nuns?
Nothing in terms physiology is stopping them (unlike spehs mahreens) and theres no obvious lore fluff stating they can't get it on, besides their association with the ecclesiarchy.
I mean imperial guard can make ze babies, and battle sisters are nothing more than soldiers of the emprah church (some stupid loop hole around the law where the church cannot have MEN AT ARMS).
as for fantasy? In its current form I hate it now.
I like the previous version when everything wasn't so end game. Where the vampire counts bloodlines still held individuality, when the elf races were still separated, when human territories were still cool.
There was a status quo that perpetuated a lore where the world war would last forever. An eternal fight of good vs evil from so many different fronts as no two good sides are ever always allies and some can even be enemies.
Now?
You either side with nagash, malekith or chaos. The rest is either extinct, on the brink, or dogs of war.
-
eh, i just have the vampire book, i still need to actually make the army, and i dont know a lot on the lore, aside from what is in the vampire book. I have heard Nagash was implemented and he looks huge
-
There is no specific rule against sex within the Sisters, but because Slaanesh, it's not really encouraged.
Also, I see your magic missile and raise you a Chimera APC.
-

What the fuck... Literally...

What do you mean?

There is no specific rule against sex within the Sisters, but because Slaanesh, it's not really encouraged.
Also, I see your magic missile and raise you a Chimera APC.
i dont know what that is, can i get back to you with some space wolves? (I dont remember the chapter name, but they are the viking looking space marines)
-
What do you mean?
This conversation literally turned into something about sex with no indication of that whatsoever previously

I raise your Space Wolf squad Björn the Fell-Handed, the oldest Dreadnought ever.

Ceres asked if they were legit nuns, with a chastity vow and such.
They don't have one, but it's not really encouraged.
-
again dude, i dont know a lot on 40k lore, but i see your dreadnaught and raise you a Tyranid army
-
I see your 'nid army and raise you an army of Necrons.
-
yeah i dont know those ones. Sooooo, im just going to invoke the Maw and send some trolls your way
-
Necrons rip apart the puny organics with Gauss Flayers.
I win~<3
-
dang, well you do know the Maw is basically a 3 mile wide mouth god thing that eats everything in its path right?
-
Then I raise your Maw THIS:
Those two grey disc-y things?
The Enterprise.
-
Im pretty sure the Maw ate an entire country
-
Update:
I think it is time I move in, and become one with you all. This will reveal my full power. Which is 100,000,000,000 times stronger than what I said it was in my previous posts.
To become fully connected, I require Jacob to bring me a free name change so I can be the real Davidgra
So no-one gets the reference I made in my name?

Doesn't matter.
The general consensus is that in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Imperial Escort vessels are anywhere between 750 metres and 3 kilometres in length, Cruisers are anywhere between 5 and 6 kilometres long and Battleships anywhere between 6 and 8 kilometres.
The battleship is bigger, in space, and can bombard it with Nova Cannon fire and torpedoes.
...typical Nova Cannon consists of an array of potent gravimetric impellers designed to accelerate a projectile to a fraction of the speed of light. These projectiles vary, ranging from sophisticated plasma warheads which burn with the ferocity of a small star for a fraction of a second, to implosive devices which exert destructive gravitational forces upon all those caught within several thousand kilometres of the detonation.
...Up to 200 feet long and powered by a powerful plasma reactor that also forms part of the warhead, torpedoes' extremely limited tracking abilities are made up for by the sheer size of the blast they can produce, making a near miss almost as good as a direct hit.

I BANISH THEE FROM THIS THREAD
-
meh, can't be bothered
-
If you insist The Maw beats the battleship, then I see your maw and raise you Slaanesh, who rapes it for all eternity.
-
Fine the, i summon the winds of chaos, BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE
-
*Revs up a chainsword.*
How is this thing practical?
-
Damnit, Khorne does beat Slaanesh.
I summon Tzeentch, master of plans, which immediately makes your winds of chaos fall into a hole.
JUST AS PLANNED
And Koali, The teeth are needed to cut through enemy armor.
-
Ahem, i awaken Sigmar and call him to my aid
-
Armor? Just use a...
WARHAMMER!!!
Badum-tshhh!
-
...You just summoned the God-Emporer.
Very well... I SUMMON DOOM RIDER.
And unless hammers are power hammers (AKA Thunder Hammers) they're not doing much beyond bruising the enemy under the armor.
Space Marines have bulletproof bones.
-
Eh fine, Nagash
-
Doom Rider is a coke snorting, chopper riding, drug-and-alcohol-addled Daemon Prince with a flaming skull for a head.
Doom Rider > Everything.
-
soo he's a junkie version of Ghost rider?
-
Almost.
He's ridiculously better than Ghost Rider.
-
40k?
-
Doom Rider is indeed from 40k.
-
again, i dont know that much from 40k
-
And I know nothing about WHF.
-
Sigmar is pretty much the same kind of guy in both. And Nagash pretty much made himself a god, and is ultimately responsible for vampires
-
Slaanesh is the Chaos god of pleasure and overindulgence, Tzeentch is the Chaos God of plans and such.
A dreadnought is a large, blocky mech with a crippled space marine entombed within.
-
niiice, so blood god is i am guessing the highly agro chaos god? and the others?
-
There are a few major Chaos Gods- Nurgle, Khorne, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh,
Khorne is god of blood and violence,
Nurgle is god of rot,
Tzeentch is the god of plans and such,
And Slaanesh is pleasure and overindulgence.
-
So who has the skull throne? Nurgle or Khorne?
-
Khorne has the skull throne, Nurgle has a cooking pot he breeds diseases in.
-
Remind me not to order from Nurgle catering
-
No worries, Isha, the Eldar Goddess of healing, and Nurgle's 'wife' secretly spreads cures.
-
Fine the, i summon the winds of chaos, BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE
referencing winds of magic.
then references khorne that hates magic.
Leave.
any 40k scrubs. Just watch this.
-
as i have stated, i am a noob in anything warhammer, i only have the vampire count book
-
as i have stated, i am a noob in anything warhammer, i only have the vampire count book
you don't even got the rulebook? kinda need that.
-
The guy who got me into it suggested i wait, because he thought they were soon going to revise them a bit, though with the whole Nagash end of the world thing, they may have done that

as for the sisters of battle... they should just send the repentia out into the megaprisons fully unarmed that or imperial barracks.
Also fantasy right now is complete garbage. And I'm not even 100% sure you have the correct army book. Do vampire counts still exist in this current edition.
from what I read theres only ppl that suck nagash's god bone. And thats apparently an army choice. Khemri, all the blood lines, generic undead are all part of the same army now as opposed to b4 when they held individual traits.
Here's how do tell. Does your army book specify blood lines (like blood dragon or lahmian armies and heroes) or do you only get generic vampire counts?
-
The only bloodline with any detail had the Von Cartsteins in it. Others were mentioned, but didn't have much detail
-
The only bloodline with any detail had the Von Cartsteins in it. Others were mentioned, but didn't have much detail
No rules involving bloodlines eh.
e.g. strigoi vampire armies make ghouls as a common troop type.
While lahmians never ever have ghouls (outright not allowed). However they can have thanes (heroes from other armies) and 1 rare slot for an enemy troop type.
So I guess you have the correct edition. Since the older edition really emphasised how different bloodlines armies were (which was kinda fun).
I personally loved running lahmian armies and getting a chaos tzeench champion and getting khorne berserkers or just normal warriors with mark of tzeench.
Then cheesing it out with spirit hosts, banshees (ethereal-immune to everything except except magic, so war machines, long range shots, melee attacks, all useless) and skeletons (just to fill in the points requirement).
-
oi, yeah it should be current. It didn't really impose restrictions of bloodlines, other than by lore
