Get hyped! Get loud! A new event is in town!

What is it?
The Squizit clan [»»»»] has been participating in and live streaming skirmishes every Friday FP-POV for the last 2 months and we decided we have been consistent enough for us to start an organized and planned event.

How does it work?
Each week we choose from a set of themes. Chaos before Chaos, Noob pilots only, Inverted battle, Fight zone, and much more! The theme changes each match and themes may be combined for extra fun.

When is it?
It starts at 8:00 PM MST and normally ends around 11:00 MST

How to join
This week, it will start as a 2v2 to ensure we are able to get enough people. We will release the match password here and in global shortly afterword. Look for Squizit in the chat/match list.

The Themes

Keep in mind that themes may be combined
Breaking the rules of a theme requires your ship to suicide. Suicide means that the crew stops shooting and repairing and the captain runs the boat into the map to inflict hull damage until they are destroyed.

The Chaos before the Chaos
Do you like Chaos Skirmish Saturdays so much that you want to do it 2 nights in a row? You are in good luck because that is one of our themes. Straight up Chaos. (We won't do this for the first few FNBs because chaos is quite an undertaking to organize.)

Noob pilots only
Just as the name suggests, we put noobs in the hotseat. This is only playable when there are enough captains under level 8 to fill all the captain slots.

Inverted Battle
Pyra only battle. It is required that all pilots back into battle. That means that both teams need to pass each-other to start shooting. No one is allowed to turn all the way around.

Fight zone
Battle on the dunes is a pretty large and barren map. Because of this, we are able to designate "demilitarized zones" on the map where only ramming is allowed. This forces either a short or long range battle.

Traitor
1 captain from each time is whispered to that they are the traitor. Their ship is then tasked at screwing up the match for their team by ramming teammates, running right into battle, and trolling with friendly fire. Traitors are not allowed to suicide their ships and not allowed to shoot at non-friendly ships. Traitors must play the part or someone else will be assigned traitor mid-match.

Ya know some people just like the classics, and we do too. Regular old matches are not uncommon in this event.

Ya, this is kind of an alternative for Iron Fork Fridays for the America region.

Good luck! But be careful with your themes... sometimes it can be very hard to "enforce" those rules and make the lobby go smoothly. Try to design them in such a way that they're fool-proof and nobody can screw them up for you.

More Themes!

Red light/Green light
No one is pilot. Everyone is engineer or gunner. Crews cannot move their ships until the game maser Squizit says green light and must stop moving their ships when game maser Squizit says red light.
Full match Discord RECOMMENDED (Only Squizit can talk)

Super buff
Pilots are required to always have a buff active for the entire match

No spots
Everyone has a rangefinder instead of a spyglass and pilots cannot use pilot spots

1... 2... 3... Switch!
No one has pilot loadout or everyone has pilot loadout. Pilot must switch on the command of game master Squizit

Hear everything
Everyone can hear each-other over a Discord chat. Chaos in communication! No vocal command is safe!

Lochdown
Kind of stolen from Chaos Skirmish except normal rounds are prohibited! 3 Gunners, 1 Pilot, Shifting Spanner and Lochnegar only. This is a hard rule to enforce so people really need to hold up their end of the deal.

Quick update: The password to the lobby will be released ON THE STREAM ONLY so we are able to explain the rules vocally before releasing it.

The rules for each round will also be displayed on the stream in text form so people have an easier time equipping their ships and crew (with both loadouts and knowledge).

Chaos Skirmish Saturdays is moving to our next Friday slot to avoid christmas eve. We will continue our weekly Friday matches the week after. You should definitely still participate in Chaos!
