GOIO factions: their troops
« on: April 18, 2016, 11:08:33 am »
(I know that most of my post degenerate in something idiotic, I hope not this one too.)

From an Alliance artwork we could see the design of some troops of the various factions, but I bet that they have multiple designs for the uniforms, especially the baronies, the guild and the order, since they have the flashiest and less useful designs for uniforms.

Discuss the probable outfit design and even post some images if you want.

This is how I imagine Anglean shock troopers during an ambush assault

Those pointed hats are called "Capirote" and they were part of some Spanish Religious festival long before the KKK cooped the look.

Also I'm guessing that Baronies subscribe to the hat theory.  The bigger, fancier, and more impractical the hat, the more important the wearer.

Personally, I feel/think/hope that the Angleans might have some mechanized stuff.  I'm not talking power armor, but gadgets built into their gear seams like a possibility.  However, I don't think they would have as much emphasis on uniforms.  I can definitely see them purposefully making themselves look barbaric, which would give their raiders a psychological edge.

I have more hats, therefore I'm the commander https://1d4chan.org/images/f/f5/Grand_High_Motherfucking_General_Of_The_Universe.jpg

forgotten NOBILITY, not ability...

I've noticed that sometime earlier after rewatching the trailer, but i've noticed someone go with "ability" recently and purposefully hopped on the bandwagon

Though there is something to be said about the forgotten nobility of KKK...

The official costumes look epic!!!

The finished costumes look very similar to the concept arts. I cannot wait to try them.  :D

those aren't as bad as I expected. I actually think they look cool. Like a mixture of fire-nation uniforms with the colours of the air-nomads
