Post game type and event ideas here

"Hide and go seek"

Map:Labyrinth

Red team:
Ship 1: any kind of ship no flares (most likely a all gat junker)
Ship 2: Harpoon squid

Blue team:
All Flare squids

Objectives:

Blue team:
type to suicide ram the globe at Cap point A without taking any damage from the red team.  Done correctly this should show the ship being killed by its own captain.

Red team:
"tag" the blue team before they can suicide ram the globe.

Additional Rules:

If the red team caps the point they LOSE.  This will prevent camping too close to the point.

When the game starts the blue team must wait for the red team to get in position at the center of the map.  The game starts when the red team types "READY OR NOT HERE I COME" into chat.

This game should end up with 2 squids sneaking around the city, one harpoon squid going around searching for them, and one gat full ship trying to guard the point without getting too close to it.

Someone should host a squid racing series, where routes are defined and and first Squid to the finishing line wins!

Seriously, we should revive this.

There has been an upserge of interest in racing recently.

Captain red light green light.

Spectator says green light: everyone flys normal.

Spactator says red light: everyone immediately jumps off the helm without adjusting throttle. 

Hilarity very probable.

EngineerSteer: Captain sets throttle to full, then exits helm. Game plays like normal, but throttle and turn are adjusted only by buffing and harming the engines.

Thanks Hamster. Anyone want to try it? PM me and we can set up a game. Should only take 4 players but I think AI gunners might end up being over powered at tagging hidden enemies . That can be balanced by substituting some guns for flares which the AI cant shoot.

Get ready... we were exploring the labyrinth yesterday, to design some maps for squid racing... you've put some pretty tight spots in there... My one disappointment, is a hole big enough in a building to fly a squid through.... That would be epic (Then again, I could've missed it)

there actually is. . . but its so tight you need absolute perfection. . i've done it. . very slowly. . but i don't remember if i did it with the junker or the squid. i believe the building is near the outskirts though. seems like the sorta thing you would use as a special short cut though since it will surely cause many captains to go down in flames trying.

Sudden Death: All players may not bring repair tools of any description. That means the only engineering tools are the extinguishers and buff.

I did enjoy Hat Trick Harpoons where points were scored by the Squid to get all three harpoons in one target.  Then you tar/moonshine and drag them through it.
