Great matches on week two. Some real tense moments and comebacks. Gratz to the teams who have won so far. We currently have 2 teams in a tie for first with over 300 points. While that number may seem big, remember with one win you can net over 100. Even more if you get the bonus. On top of the points you are given to start, that can get you within striking distance of the top 6 easily. 1 week can make a big difference.
As a reminder to all participants of the Aerodrome, there will be 2 signups this week. This first signup is for the Trader Contracts. Meaning you are electing to be on Blue team and start with the Cargo first. The Rival Contracts will be posted on Wednesday for Red Spawn. So brave ones, add your names in. Rivals, plot with villainous grins and creepy laughs as you wait for your contracts to open.
There will be weekly prizes so be sure to keep track of your teammate names in case you win.
However for this signup, all I need is your company name and CEO. If you did not register last week, I'll need you to do full registration for this week. Example from the early registration thread for those newcomers:
Company: Zukasauce Inc
Mission Statement: "To spread Zuka's love through all the world via his sauce."
Base of Operations: Starostrog, Guild
Logo (Optional): <Artistic Zuka Sultry Grin image>
CEO: Zuka
Steam ID, In game Name: Zuka2016, Zukamania
Now because this is the official signup week. I need you to add one more bit of vital information...your match choice.
So reply with:
Contract Requested: <Insert map name here>
Then also if you could state if you are willing to mercenary for other matches, that would help a lot too. Basically means your official match counts but the others will be bonus battles to help fill matches. So "Willing to Merc: Yes/No"
If you already signed up on prior weeks or pre-registration, just list the contract you want and merc willingness.Alright, thats it. Again, there is no long term commitment with this event. Take contracts as often or as seldom as you like. Twitch streaming info will be posted in the schedule thread later. If you are a new team, you will get passwords and mumble server info sent to you on here via PM from me.
Remember, all point payouts are split between ships on your team.
Week Three Trade Contracts:
Contract 1: Yesha's Will Be Done
Map: Canyon Ambush
Cargo: Propaganda
Payout: 300The current state of affairs in Yesha has gradually calmed with the close of the war. However, many outlying cities who were not officially part of the Empire but sent tributes for protection, have been beginning to lose faith in the Yeshan Way. Local ambassadors are finding themselves at a loss as people grow increasingly dissolutioned and are reconsidering officially joining Yesha.
Thankfully, all we gotta do is bring those people the propaganda they need to distribute to the people. I don't have to remind you that a stable Yesha is a profitable Yesha. That includes these neighbors. Route through the canyons has already been plotted. First delivery is in Tiesha Sands.
Contract 2: Qinqaachi Gangland
Map: Fight Over Firnfeld
Cargo: Guns
Payout: 300This contract is a direct result of Anglea's weakened presence in Firnfeld. Local gangs have been stirring up trouble and because Anglea isn't there to raid them and keep their operations small, there is now a turf war happening all across Firnfeld. Qinqaachi has requested weaponry from The Bully Boys Conglomerate, those mercenary arms dealers who took over Faberia.
Your job is to pick up the shipment from Faberia and deliver it to Qinqaachi. Try not to stick around too long. Qinqaachi is maintaining order but don't count on that forever.
Contract 3: Ettingscove Goodwill
Map: Fjords
Cargo: Food Stuffs
Payout: 300The situation in the Baronies is not improving. There have even been riots breaking out in the northern cities. The fact that many Barons are living luxuriously while their people suffer is only adding to it. The king is making efforts but it is obvious that it will not be enough.
The baron of Ettingscove, guy by the name of Wrenfell is requesting this contract. Apparently he's opening storehouses and even his own personal stock to be shipped up north and help the people there. While I doubt it will do much good, it may be able to put a bandage on the situation and slow the bleeding a bit more.
You'll be working with Ettings Shipping Company on this job. Its a small start up in Ettingscove. They'll give you berths and shipments to deliver.
It is a noble task but just be careful up there. Wrenfell is making quite a few of his fellow barons look bad by doing this. They may feel threatened and try something. Best check for daggers and keep one eye over your shoulder.
Contract 4: Munker Days of Nalm
Map: Dunes
Cargo: Mines
Payout: 300Turns out it was local sabotage that took down the water pumps. While they are functioning now, the damage was done and it seems a local tribal lord has been stirring up trouble in the sands. The Nalmese need mines to secure off the city while the remaining tribes wipe out this upstart.
Security has been assured by the Nalmese. They'll have ships escort you in and out. Mines have been defused for shipment so chances of blowing yourself up should be at a low.
Contract 5: Oil For The Teeth
Map: Water Hazard
Cargo: Oil
Payout: 300Settlements are moving along nicely but they are running low on oil and fuel for their machinery. Despite remaining tensions with the Fjordlands, they have reached out to Blackcliff with an order and have surprisingly found that order fulfilled. Blackcliff has a shipment ready for pickup.
This is a big move that may signal a return to relations between these two nations. While Averna may not be backing it, it could indeed be a step towards something bigger in the future. Having our hands in it may pay off when that time comes. Get on over to Blackcliff and pick up that shipment!
