Kamoba:
Rear mine launcher on a buffed moonshine squid is majorly long range...
Every time my gunner shoots a shot, the mine is miles away... 8)

I am fairly certain the range effectiveness on that chart is just determined by shell life*muzzle speed to some extent.
Considering the mine launcher having a shell life of 4 minutes, it is not surprising it will be classified as very long range.

@Extir: shell life*projectile speed = range, so it's the same thing :p

Anyways, if we do want to change the description, these are the ranges I propose:

Very long range (beyond 1.75km)

* Mercury Field GunNot much to say - 750m/s projectile speed, 2250m max range and no spread; it should be the only gun that deserves this title.

Long range (1.75km or less)

* Lumberjack
* Hades
* ArtemisLong shell life for Hades and LJ translates into max range, with high projectile speed thanks to Lesmok. The Artemis' naturally high max range and projectile speed, not to mention its lack of spread, lets it make this tier.

Medium range (1.25km or less)

* Hwacha
* Minotaur
* Heavy & Light Flak
* Banshee
* FlareGuns here are either limited by max range, spread, or low projectile speed accompanied by shell drop.

Close range (500m or less)

* Heavy & Light Carronade
* Flamer
* Gatling
* Mortar
* Mine Launcher
* HarpoonAgain, mostly due to terrible max range or projectile speed.

I assumed 3.5 seconds on guns with long shell life (i.e. LJ, Hades, H.Flak, Mino); that's about the longest it can take for shots to consistently land. Calculating the values, they seem to fall into the categories pretty accurately.

Yeah I was just explaining why mine launcher likely has a very long range stat, even though it doesn't travel a lot.
