I replaced half of the bullets with a test wrench on the other side. I felt it would reflect better on gunner and engineer classes, and severely reduce the poly count. The wrench is pretty basic right now, but will be improved and shinied up if I decide to keep it.

Here is a turnaround.

Update. Adjustments are needed, of course, but I really like the way the badge turned out. If the gear looks familiar, it is because it is the same gear I modeled for the Sky Queen decor. The rest is modeled pretty closely after the GOIO logo at the start of the game.



sub-note: since I modeled the high poly completely to bake to the texture, I have a nice model that I could (with a few adjustments) send off to get 3d printed. I have never done such a thing, but it might be pretty cool.

I really like these ideas and the development of the Helmet but, now:
