Dismount vs. Leave Gun/Helm

Is there any practical difference between pressing "E" to dismount a gun or helm and pressing "Space" to leave a gun or helm?

E is next to R so it's easy to quickly reload right before you get off a gun.

Also makes it really easy to accidentally get off the helm if you don't remap your throttle...

I have R and F emulated on my mouse, so never do that anymore. >.>

No practical difference other than which is closer to your fingers, I tend to go for space myself. The other difference? Sometimes I like to leave the gun/helm, and sometimes I like to sound awesome and dismount it.

I've bumped myself off the helm so often that I have remapped Dismount Helm to "\" and disabled the Leave Helm key.  Thanks for confirming what I thought.
