"I didn't say I would, I said I could.  And have you ever heard of headshots, or perhaps armor piercing rounds, such as the ones used in every Whirlwind?  I have not met Gunhild, and I have no doubt she is one tough fruitcake, but I have yet to meet a being on this earth capable of dodging a bullet  And the Republic would have no right to kill me, it would be simple self-defense, perfectly legal."

The fastest gunslingers can unholster and fire their weapon in under a second.

His name's Nestor, like Captain Haddock's butler. From the Tintin series. I just find it quicker to use fonts. Now, if someone can find me a font called Nestor, we're golden.

 "Customers? I... Aw... I thought I could come and explore the catacombs. But... The bar must not be left untended!"

"I don't suppose I should bring some booze with us...?"

(Carn) "The Republic considers Gunhild to be a very valuable asset, you do not have any affiliation to a faction that i am aware of. Anyways, angry Angleans aren't really known for diplomacy. And of course i know of armor piercing rounds, but those are not cheap for pistols, as for headshots, there are parts of the brain that can be shot, and not kill you."

(Ingur) "You could just close down the bar, or find a stand in."

Ah, Tintin is a French comic book series! It's OK to not remember Nestor's name, he's used to it. He goes by 'Bartender' most of the time anyway.

{Nestor the Magnificent} "As I am the only automaton here, I'd be hard pressed to find a temporary replacement."

Just a heads-up, Nestor likes fancy titles.

(Carn) "Ahem, Anglea successfully fought a war with both the Baronies and the Empire simultaneously. Nobody gets past Anglean border patrol. And both the guild and the league are also fond of me. And what materials are you using for armor piercing rounds? Granted, your average bandit's armor will go down quick, but I've taken a few gatling rounds to my armor before. And am unmarked because of my armor, its top of the line stuff."

(Ingur) grabs carbine "Boys, if you dont quite your pissing contest, I going to shoot both of you myself. And you won't like where I'll aim."

*Chuckles.*

"Luckily for me I don't have anything there!"

(Ingur) "I can get glue for the both of you, anyways i wouldn't shoot Carn there. Shaded however..."

(Carn) "Anyways, lets go before we all kill each other."

"I'm pretty sure the little guys talk, don'tcha?"

"Affirmative, sir.  We are fully capable of human speech.

Imagine them talking in a high pitched, clicking, digital voic, monotone.

"Yes, but do you really think Anglea will be willing to spare enough of a fighting force to take out me, my men, the Yeshans, and the Baronies?  And might I mention that the Republic used guerilla tactics, not frontline fighting. I use tungsten and my own special brand of propellent. I have punched through Squid armor plates with those, and while that might not sound like much, remember this is a pistol up against combat-grade vehicle armor.  And armor on airships might need to be totally stripped, but body armor simply needs one puncture."

*Turns to Ingur*

"Ingur, we are not having a 'pissing contest', Carn is boasting, and I am simply defending my point.  He is the one who not only started the argument, but is so childish to assume that he cannot be beaten."

"BOTH OF YOU. STOP. COME WITH ME."

(Carn) starts chuckling "I fought in guerilla style, you don't want to know how many Yeshan officials i personally killed. However, it was mostly the Marauder units that fought like that. We did fight front line battles, however we choose them. Everybody knows that the Empire has more numbers. Our grunts though are better trained, and there are a few Arashi clans that owe me a blood debt. They would fight you. And since when is tungsten CHEAP?"

(Ingur) points gun at Shaded's personal area "If I think its a pissing contest, its a pissing contest. Your both boasting on how you could kill each other, or how your friends would avenge you. Thats a military type pissing contest."

[ShadedExalt]

"So you pull a gun on me.

And of course, you expect me to concede.

Screw that.

And, of course, you are using the time old 'because I say so' 'argument'.  Nobody is anybody's commanding officer here, remember that.

Besides, the only way any of this is happening is if one us decides to betray everyone."

"Carn, you may be a cold-blooded elite of the Republic, but I have done things you would probably blanche at.  And tungsten is cheap when you have connections to a premier manufacturer.  Arashi hates me regardless, and I routinely tangle with some of the best they have to offer.  I regularly salvage from the Leviathan.  Now if you two ladies will excuse me..."
