(Carn) "Well he wanted to crack open your skull and do SOMETHING. My engineering skill is limited to fixing airships and weapons in combat."

(Ingur) "Cogitators, he said those were what was wrong. The little spider bot just did some overall tinkering. It says you should have faster processing power now, along with greater physical power."

(Carn) "Nice, you got an upgrade! Isn't that worth having a harmless spider bot crawl around? Versus Shaded poking in what is probably something like a brain for you?"

"My way would've been faster. Also, I am aware that you are clockwork.  Logic cogitators use, as would be predicted, cogs.  Upgrades are nice, but efficiency is too.  And what, you don't trust a member of the Tinker's Guild?"

"Do you really think I'd trust a... Shady character like you to not negatively tamper with me? Oh hey, I guess it did make me stronger."

"Hoo, shots fired! Now, Spades, do you need help fixing your ship?"

"Since when have I ever been anything but a gentleman?  And besides, you may be strong... But I can still take you apart cog by well-greased cog.  That mild threat aside, what interest could I have in harming you?"

[Carn]

(Carn) raises an eyebrow at spades "Where else? Vyshtorg, the Guild capital. Anyways, why is a fjordlander wearing Anglean colors?"

(Ingur) "Faster maybe, but likely a temporary fix, a few minutes of diagnostics which results in the problem fixed as well as a physical and mental upgrade are worth it if you ask me."

(Carn) "Anyways, as I said, he owes me a few favors. Big ones."

(Ingur) "We've never personally seen you do something like this. However, these bots are designed to do this. One which was designed by pre-war experts."

(Carn) "Shaded, whats done is done. We are not in an emergency, and sometimes its better to wait, and ere on the side of caution, then just jumping in when there is no immediate need to do so."

"I'm just miffed that none of you think I can do it.  Also, Nestor is interesting, I would've liked to have a look- not a poke, mind you- at how he works."

(Gunhild) "There's plenty of men who will do much the same when a woman is to drunk. We have a few choice names for them"

"Maybe if you'd paid attention to what I'd said, you'd have noticed I said look, not poke.  Yes, I am fully aware that one can do things worthy of those undoubtedly choice names without taking a metaphorical 'poke', but I am outraged that you would even suggest I would do such a thing.  That was out of line... ma'am."

[Carn]

(Carn) "He does have a point Major, that was a low blow."

(Gunhild) grumbles to herself and continues drinking

(Ingur) "Can we just move past this already? I mean seriously, whats done is done."

(Carn) "I've got to agree with her, no use squabbling about it. Two different ways to fix him, and Ingur did start before Shaded. So can we all just grab some booze and let bygones be bygones?"

"I don't know.  All this booze is pissing us off.  Maybe go out for a test run with my super duper top secret new guns?"

(Carn) "You may have a point." fills several  glasses with water, one for everyone in the bar, then mixes a dark greenish powder into it. "Here, its a sobriety mixture. It won't fix you completely, but it'll negate about 80% to 90% of the effects. Still going to get a hangover, but we will at least have clear heads." grabs a glass and lifts it up "Cheers." downs it

(Ingur) "Cheers." drinks hers

(Gunhild) mutters some possible obscenity and drinks hers
