"...It's a small spider robot.  There isn't much room for processing power.  Unless it uses old world tech, there's no way it's better than a halfway decent engineer.  On top of that, if it can't take vibrations from a mallet (which, by the way, was placed in the spot where the damage is actually located), how the hell does it function on ships?"

[Carn]

(Ingur) "It IS old world tech, the schematics anyways. And Nestor is a lot more complicated then a engine, its scanning him, locating where the problem is. Its precise and delicate work, and malleting him, will just make it take longer."

(Carn) "Just let the bot do its job Shaded."

[ShadedExalt]

"I'm telling you, it's the cogitators."

*Steps back and watches expectantly.*

[Carn]

They watch as the spider bot scuttles around tapping here and there on Nestor. Coming to a conclusion, it opens a small hatch in the small of Nestor's back and crawls inside. They can here whirring and tapping, along with the occasional spark.

(Ingur) "Ok, now REALLY don't whack it. Doing that now may well cause the bot to miss or some other such thing. Then we have a spider bot jammed into a malfunctioning Automaton."

"Of course not, I'm far from stupid.  Although unless Nestor is customized, I don't know what could be wrong with his lower torso to cause this..."

[Carn]

(Ingur) "Koali DID build him from scratch remember? Anyways, perhaps that was just the best access hatch for the little guy."

[ShadedExalt]

"Wasn't he just... Here?"

[aceofeagles]

"Whoever they were they killed my crew,busted up my ship and anhilated my milk supply they'll pay for that"

spades took a hard swig of his cider.

"...seems like your having problems with your bots...yah need help?"

[Carn]

The spider bot finishes and climbs out via Nestor's mouth, then jumps to Ingur's shoulder chattering a report.

(Ingur) "Eh, we'll need Koali to do an activation sequence. It's apparently wired so only he can do it. But the initial problem is solved."

(I'll not take control of Nestor from you)

(Carn) "I was shot down by some bandits around here awhile ago. Maybe its them flying Chaladonian colors."

[aceofeagles]

"Well the mercintile region is close to the chaldoian's region...wouldnt be too suprised if the mercs grabed a couple of the orders ships and are trying to frame the chaladoin's for this"

He set down his rapier on the table.

"And if thats the case I'll need me some crew to go up against them."

[Carn]

(Carn) shakes head "The Guild doesn't have a lot of personal forces, they prefer to hire mercenaries. That being said, they could be the ones responsible for both our problems. A lot of mercenaries go bandit when they can't get a contract." scratches chin "I know a guildmaster who owes me a few favors, all things considered he's one of the more pleasent of them. He'll sell you up the river if the price is right, but he'll feel sorry about it."

(Gunhild)"What ship are you flying, I uhh, didn't exactly bother with the docks."

(Ingur) snorts "Understatement, you just gotta have your dramatic entrances sis."

[Koali]

{[AI] Nestor Rebooted} "Zzt... Mgff? ... GAAAH!!! Is that a spider? Get it off! GET IT OUT OF MY CHASSIS!!!"

*Awakens from stone form.*

"Huh? I just had the strangest dream about an army of robots and a team of superheroes and- Whoa, the !@#$%'s up with Nestor?"

In other words I went and saw the new Avengers movie.

[Carn]

(you pink bastard, i bet it was good)

(Ingur) "Relax, you shorted out. The spider bot fixed you. Remember these things?"

[Koali]

It was.

*The spider bot jumps out.*

{[AI] Nestor} "Ugh, fascinating creatures, but... Waking up with one crawling around in your chest..."

[Carn]

(Ingur) "It was already finished Nestor."

(Carn) "And I'm 80% sure it also crawled around in your head. I mean, it did exit through your mouth."

(Ingur) "These are automatons too Nestor, not as sophisticated as you. But they are of an old world design, one to fix things, like othe automatons."

(Carn) "Shaded wanted to crack open your head and start pulling wires."
