Duel at Dawn has always been in a weird place. Originally it was a 1v1 map, but quickly converted into a 2v2; since the game isn't balanced or intended for 1v1 combat. The problem with this is that the map size never increased, and it remained being incredibly tiny. We also ended up with a few shared spawns all over the map, and people started complaining about ships being able to spawn directly back into combat. This was especially relevant on duel at dawn, where you would kill a ship, and shortly after it would spawn right next to you, kill you, and you would spawn right next to it shortly after that. It was for this reason the spawns were split on Duel Dawn to their respective sides; but of course with the incredibly small map size, it's stupid easy to spawn camp as can be seen by any team winning on Duel at Dawn. And this is the third or so time a thread has been created about this map and it's spawns specifically.
Changing the spawns back to all the corners wouldn't allow for spawn camping, but revert to the old problem of ships doing a conga line of respawns (mostly in pub matches). Realistically the map has to change in a big way. Such as literally making it larger, it was never designed for 2v2 combat.
