This reminded me of this, as it turned out, quite pointless discussion. :D

CONSENSUS:

New Vegas/Obisidian is the right path for Fallout, which should do away with the new perk system, go back to skills and the effects you had on the world around you, with original lore.

Fallout 4 is decent, but not as good as it could have been.

Sound about right?

I like Fallout 4 quite a lot. I wanted to be a terrible hipster and hate it, but it's a really good game. The PC port is kinda bad, but the game is good. Is it Fallout? Eh, kinda.    There's a lot of bad things they did, especially with perks and dialogue, but it's still good, and I can't help but enjoy it

(I didn't want to bring back the subject, only to mock that I've started it, and it was quite pointless)

I blame GoI for taking away my other game times... but other games I play with my clan (we're formed from a different game community):

Transformice
Payday 2
Borderlands (all of 'em)
Mount your Friends
Cards Against Humanity online
Board game Online
L4D2
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
Battleblock
Unturned

"Sunk" a bit of time into Steel Ocean recently. Actual Chinese F2P title that is pretty good. Either you love it or hate it. Depends how you view World of Warships. I didn't play that before hand so I love it. People say WoWs is better visually but it's lacking sub combat. Frankly I think I'd be bored without the sub combat. There are times when you want to just sit on the surface and decimate foes from afar with your battleship, and then times when you want to sneak up on that battle ship and cut it in half when your torpedo hits the fuel bay or the ammo stores.

When I'm not stuck in the fiery and ass-rape'y pits of my faculty, I replay - 12th time - Arcanum Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. But THIS time I intend to look at it from a distance, especially that last time I played it was before I played Planescape: Torment.

So far it's surprising (yeah, despite having 450+ hours in this game, it STILL surprises), how much 2 more-or-less small flaws in design can screw things up - first being: how much this game is similar in terms of complexity of mechanics to Fallout (well, Tim Cain programmed both) an yet - how unclear it seems, cause numbers are well-hidden, and second - awkward system of gaining experience, and how some things about it were not given enough thought. This made the combat far less appealing than it might be.

Fuck I missed this game.

PS: Fuck Activision.

holy balls I forgot I had this game.

in this game you feel so freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. kinda like guns its easy to learn but hard to master ~(stress on the master).

If you're a mirror's edge speed runner, you can prolly play it pretty well.

Recently I've discovered this Doom2 mod.

By the Gods, how challenging, interesting and fun this is.
Which also shows, that a great game can last, and last forever - Doom2 is what, 22 years old? Shit's as old as I, and still kicks ass more than most FPS games (maybe save from Duke Nukem 3D).

I've been away a while, mostly on games I can play offline, for the beloved Pause ability...

Most played recently?
Viscera Clean-up Detail.
It's well worth checking out, plenty of Easter eggs to go searching for while cleaning after a bloody mess. :)

I've heard of this game thanks to Tomato Gaming on YT; What the hell is this game about?

Imagine taking part in a horrifying, sci-fi space event. You're not the protagonist, you're not the alien, you're not the captain, or the security guard.

You're just the guy who cleans the place afterwards.

...So. This is only about cleaning after the abittoir, aye?
This doesn't sound like much fun, though I know there are people who like to play, like, Truck Simulators. Which I don't understand at all, oh well.
