That's for 0+1-1+1-1... -> Infinity.
Something about taking the average of 1 and zero. (1+0)/2= 1/2
(Since no one knows whether the 'last number' is even or odd.)
I disagree with that assumption personally.
This result can be used to prove that the sum of the first n natural numbers is -1/12.
I again disagree with it.
But you can use riemann-zeta functions to prove that result too though (as i heard it.) So I'm less inclined to get annoyed about that since i have no understanding of riemann-zeta functions whatsoever.
