I wish I could remember the name of the ship I was on.

Last post was the 16th? May as well post here anyways! My ships are just collections of silliness.

Goldfish: Disappointing Prize: Because I mean, when you win a goldfish at a carnival or something, it's just a really disappointing prize.
Junker: Patchwork Miracle: It's rather self explanatory, don't you think?
Squid: Burnt Calamari: Flame weapons + Squid = Burnt Calamari.
Galleon: Galleons of Oil: Y'know, like gallons of oil, but it's a Galleon? Anyone?
Pyramidion: Painful Trigonometry: It's a triangle, and it dispenses pain. What's not to like?
Spire: The Fun-olith: The Spire reminds me a of a big monolith that you'd see appearing over the horizon. BUt since fun is mandatory on my ships, I call it the Fun-olith!
Mobula: Hammerhead Snark: The Mobula looks like a really stubby hammerhead shark, and I imagine it making snarky comments to the other ships.

The Mobula does look rather fancy...

I am a fan of Ghibli animations, they are my inspiration for airship combats and steampunk themes.

So I've renamed some of my ships in better reference to Ghibli animations. Salutess if you can figure out the references first

Mobula: Porco Rosso
Goldfish: Tiger Moth
Galleon: The Goliath

and several salutes over the period of many days if you get this.

Squid: The Wolf of Tibere

And I will continue to reference Ghibli films. I think I'm renaming my Junker: Kaonashi today or tomorrow.

Squid: The Wolf of Tibere

Are you secretly a Roman?

That's actually a really good guess, but I'm trying to get all my ships to reference Ghibli films.
This reference is so obscure. It's mentioned once in a Ghibli film.

Hint: "Seaplane No.2 'the Wolf of Tibere'!"

Goldfish: Tiger Moth
Galleon: The Goliath

Those are both from Laputa: Castle in the Sky.

Porco Rosso is another movie in itself.

My ships are named after Obscure Sphinx songs/albums, with clan prefix (FFS for FIRE), excluding Goldfish:

Mobula: FFS Void Mother

Just a little update (yes, you totaly give a fuck, I'm sure of that)

Mobula: Echo Of Nihil

I think it fits it - it's a mobula, so it's sophisticated, yet weird, gentle, yet brutal.
My mercury shots striping the hull are like Echoes the grim future, past which there is only oblivion.
Artemises and banshees are like haunted screams of Zofia Fraś.
Games with it longs like Obscure Sphinx's songs (their songs are 7 to 16 minutes long), unless enemies are stupid and you execute the tactics well (playing Red Sepulcher with this while being in red team, and if allies sees that spawn point as a great natural defense/ambush site ends almost always with slaughter - even if one of your enemies is a ship full of Lols, like Blacky Sabbath or Horus).
And fucking hell, I like flying it. Every other ship seems to me so immature, while mobula, my loadout especially, requires a feeling, and what's more important - patience. A patien hunter gets the prey.

Sorry, I'm a bit weird minded today. Finals are coming and my mind... well, endures it not really well.

Prepare for duck names

Pyramidion- ram boat. Changed to the Entenrammboot when joined the ducks (German for duck ram boat). Also Rammschreckentenboot at one point

Squid- mosquito, now Made with Duck Tape. Mine carro mine for crazy kings.

Goldfish- draken, now Aves Anas (nomenclature for duck)

Junker- Hammy B. L. T. Until I think of a real name

Spire- Quackikazi due to my love of charging. Quack Pipe is taken

Galleon- Release the Quaken

Modula- it's been the Pond Ryder since borrowing tactics from watching the Ryders.

I'm always cruising around the skies of icarus in the Bucentaures Republic!

It is inspired after the flagship of the Bucentaure class ship of the line. She was seized in the Battle of Trafalgar.

Bunch of random names I give my ships when I feel I need to switch'em for a match or two, in case of special occasions.

Brimstone Landscapes - Pyramidion full of flamers, banshees, hadeses.

Combustible Lemon - Junker similar in fashion to Brimstone Landscapes.

I'LL BURN YOUR HOUSE - Junker FULL OF FLAMETHROWERS. BECAUSE

Quote
DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I’M THE MAN WHO’S GONNA BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN! WITH THE LEMONS! I’M GONNA GET MY ENGINEERS TO INVENT A COMBUSTIBLE LEMON THAT BURNS YOUR HOUSE DOWN!

KNTG REKTangle Because #Rekt. Usually taken when I don't feel merciful to give new players a chance, and take the flaming build.

KNTG Report Magnet , or KNTG MINE Kampf - Munker. Self-explanatory.

Cheeseness's Folly, my Mobula. All Artemis, except the middle slot, which is a Mercury. Named after the great Captain Cheeseness, a great pilot and leader of the SLUG's.

If I may suggest. Low artemis is a nonsense. I have double banshees there. Artemis have really poor upper angles, you won't be able to match them.

It's a negligible loss of upward arc. Bottom artis are totally viable on a mobula
