For both ships and personal use, team-color dye (possibly in a few different shades) would be nice.  Dye something team color and it's red if you're on the red team and blue if you're on the blue team.

How about custom team colors? Red vs Blue? Been done. Let's let the crews vote on team colors like Orange, Green, Yellow, Violet, Brown, Black, White, etc. Red vs Blue lobbies would become the new colors.

Dunno if its been suggested, but I know I'd like all the ship theme's to have animations (Like the industrial theme). Idk why, but the Royal theme bugs me to no end, because the flags don't move in the wind, when the other team color flags do.

I'd love to see a Day of the Dead ship theme. That, and a giant skull for a decal.

Paint that is designed to blend in with certain maps. Have a Dust/Sand textured paint job so its harder to see in Dunes. Some building-style dazzle that works for Labyrinth/Paritan.

Cosmetics for the components would be nice. They could change the apperaence of guns, the helm, armor, engines and the balloonmachine.

"Worn" for example could add rust to some components like the mortar. The goldlayer on the hwachaheads could be fading (or scaling, don´t know if its the correct word) away. The helmwheel would be missing some spokes and so on.

They could be fitting to the shipthemes allready implemented.

Pirates of the burning sea had masts that you could apply designs to once they cleared a person who checked them for inappropriate content. Having this on balloons would add depth to groups also. I understand fully how much this would add to the already demanding jobs of the game masters.
