It started with a discussion about adventure mode, world-building and fast-travel. In the end we agreed upon that the real backstory to GoIO was that giant flying rutabagas had taken over the world. It then established itself as some kind of "meme" on the early forum. One of my fondest memories from the old days

I'm afraid its too late. Flying Rutabagas have already been spotted over the city of Minneapolis...

Didn't they change it from a hammer to a... thing... right at the end of the beta, switch it back to a hammer a few days later, switch it back to a... thing... later on, and then switch it back to a hammer again?

I remember that! To be fair, though, a lot of people used voice changers back then.

I remember when Captain Roy would use a voice changer to sound British one match, then Australian the next, etc.
