The Misinformed Game
ramjamslam:
The announcers on the streams had a hard time pronouncing the name of the mighty Galleon "USS *&## ☎♬✈%$" so symbols were removed. You can still sometimes see that mighty airship from time to time, usually right after a Galleon explodes in a Cogs match.
Why did 'The Pit' get changed from it's original name 'Magical Mystery Airship Fun Board'?
Cheesy Crackers:
Because after a while people realised that The Pit wasn't magical, mystical, fun or had anything to do with airships and was actually closer to a dark hole full of the people who made up the stranger part of the community.

Weather effects obey complex geometric rules. Hurricanes and Tornadoes for instance obey the rule of squares, so the eye of the Hurricane will have straight edges and four corners. It is custom for airship battles to only take place in the middle of these Quadrilateral Hurricanes also known as "Squareicanes."
Why does smashing a spanner as hard as you can against engines always fix them?
HamsterIV:
The spanner is tuned to the the exact harmonic frequency of the nanobot's rebuild engine subroutine. By making percussive impacts at the correct frequency on any block of metal infused with engine repair nanobots we can create a working engine.
