A few minutes ago i tried watching some of the new (ish) youtube "battle royale"'s ...

I watched, in horror, as flak-fish after merc-squid paraded past my screen, as pilots rammed with squids, and gatlings were ordered to fire at baloons. Finally, as a squad of British buffgineers danced a jig around a burning hull, I crumpled off my chair and curled into a fetal position on the floor...

Later, a stubborn powder monkey simply refused to shoot at anything but the rigging on a pyramidion. When, enraged, I asked whar he was doing in match chat he replied: "sawing off the balloon. any n00b who watches the yogscast knows that..."

I will find you.

I will kill you.

I have noticed my ship hasn't been taking much damage in PUG's. I went through a loosing Paritian Rumble match without dying once. They popped our balloon a lot and we managed to kill them a couple of times, but at the end of the game we still had 50% perma-hull on the ship we spawned with. Our ally was too busy crashing into building and being completely useless to swing the game in our favor.

I mean, I know they must have not played the game very much, if at all. But I remember when I started playing at least knowing or quickly picking up things like ship layouts and damage type concepts.

I love the Yogscast videos but part of that is I've watched their stuff forever... but yes, I was cringing hard while I watched almost every single shot to come out of a gatling gun go straight into balloons. Most of the kills seem to be on accident. Love those guys ;P
