I don't think you guys have to go that far. This isn't a major event. It honestly isn't as bad as it was back when 1.2 hit. Imagine the lag problems you are having multiplied by about 5x. Yeah, thats what we had to fly under for weeks.
But I do salute thee NAF brothers for making a statement even though I urge you to reconsider for this event. Can't really grow a healthy competitive scene when the game is in the state it is in but this event shouldn't be as nerve racking as a major tournament. Develop a strat which can work with the lag is the best thing I can tell you. Pretty much what we had to do. If you have to play extremely slowly and piss off the casters and the entire community, so be it.
