I joined Metacritic for one reason...to put down Coffee Stain's Sanctum 2 debauchery of FPS TD, and I'd do it again. All until CSS admits they cheated their loyal fans and ripped us off with the non TD monstrosity that is Sanctum 2. I DIDN'T PREORDER TO SHOOT ALIENS IN THE FACE WITH TINY GUN!! I SHOOT ALIENS IN FACE WITH BIG FREAKEN GUN TURRET FILLED MAZE WHILE I SIP TEA ON A BEACH BATHING IN THE BLOOD OF THE ALIEN HORDE!!! Those that survive the maze, I will then shoot in the face!!

The problem with Metacritic scores is you can only ever once submit a score for it. A lot of the negative scores that I've seen under there for Goio came from like... beta when people were bitching about lag issues.

It's why you've gotta take all scores with a grain of salt.

It's also a case of silent majority. The people who are angry about something are much more likely to write a negative view than people who are happy about something are to write a positive review, even if the angry people are the minority, which is usually the case.
