HUD/UI
« on: May 24, 2013, 12:43:53 pm »
Short time lurker, first time poster here.

Is the user interface and or HUD user modifiable at all?

IE. Am I able to change the hit markers and or damaged component indicators displayed on my screen?

If so, how? If not please move this thread to suggestions.

Cheers,

BADFOOT

P.S. Be shooting ya REAL soon.

If you open up two copies of the game, on win8 THE HUD IS FILLED WITH LITTLE WHITE BOXES OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

Also, It was great playing the BigFoot VS BADFOOT with you and Sasquatch last night. ;)

Thanks guys.

For instance I am talking about the fantastic spectator HUD that the game has which shows all of the ship equipment in the same area.

I also really enjoy seeing what equipment the individual crew members are employing. I do wish that in spectator mode the individual

crew members specfic location was more visible. Perhaps a glow or outline might help here, I guess maybe that could be toggleable

along with the HUD as a whole for more cinematographic pursuits? Also is there a way to get replay files from the game itself? Meaning

can you record and then watch your games after the fact with an open perspective, similar to the way source tv works for TF2? Demo

files like this would be hugely useful from a training and tactical standpoint.

Currently the only way to save videos from the game is to use a separate program like OBS or Xsplit.

Complete tanget, but OBS's local recording is pretty garbage. Fraps also works though, provided you have tons of storage space.

Gotcha with the third party recording stuff. All of the awesome info on the spectator HUD is what I am after. Incidentally why this post is in suggestions.
