I am a Programmer for a company that makes emergency services equipment. I help make the software on those computers you see in police, fire, and EMS vehicles. I also work on the dispatching and networking software.

Fancy job description I use to impress people: Debugging Solutions Architect. (Sounds badass, but won't hold up around actual developers. Fun to say at high school reunions).
More realistic: Software Developer (I usually just say I'm a programmer).
What I really do: Something is broken or is complex to develop, I end up getting it to make it work.
What I spend a lot of time doing: Managing and developing the vehicle management system for a very large vehicle manufacture. Chances are if you walked into one of their dealerships you end up seeing something I helped develop. Also if you ever interacted with one of their websites. The vehicle data that is on their website is from our system.

For a living I do IT for San Jose State University (the college I attended).

But what I really do is esports production type stuff, mostly Starcraft 2 content. I'm production lead for Starcraft 2 side of the Collegiate Star League (CSL), as well as a couple of other shows esports related.
Now if I could only get paid to do it...

I'm about to finish my degree in Electrical Engineering (well, here in Spain it's a 5 year long programme that adds up to a degree in that plus a master's in, in my case, electronics and systems engineering).

I want to make a career out of AI. I love enhancement cybernetics as well, hoping for that field to become bigger in the future.

Wow, an awful lot of naval affiliation so far. I shouldn't be surprised :D

I just got my degree in Illustration a couple years ago and I've been trying to get good enough to do art as a real job since then. I actually play this game as much as I do to keep me at my desk and drawing with a tablet between matches, because I really don't know what else to do :D Currently I'm just doing freelance work for people who ask, and have been completely booked! I also work in a freezer part-time at a nearby Target so's I can have health benefits.

I also work full-time for Capt. Falco, in the Making Things Explode division.
