Can Skyball be pushed using minotaur?

Can it? Could minofish be a somewhat viable choice here? At least to push-off the ball from enemies.

It could. It should. So much more interesting/dynamic with 'poon and Mino in the mix.

I also like the idea of the ball interacting with/blocking projectiles. Mino/harpoon options as well as being able to use it as an engine shield.
