Coiler, sadly, I know all too well the
DAMN ANNOYING situation of the Italian internet connection, at Telecom they are all just thieves, filthy, lying, putrid thieves.

During this Christmas I went to visit some relatives in Croatia, I managed to play LAGLESS matches at GOIO, using some FUCKING FREE CONNECTION and the download speed was... TWICE the one that I have in Italy!
Damn annoying thieves
Technologically, nationally standing, Italy is soooooooo far behind than other countries, people here still use the FAX!
I mean, what the hell! I've never ever seen one of those devices abroad!

Lel. I happened to work for Fastweb for a few months and they tell employees to flat out lie as well. Just retarded.

Former
So he left forever the game, with only the joke "Blame it all on Shink" to be known by future generations of novice ?
That terribly sad

To be fair not many players who've left have even that. Not many players have any legacy that hasn't been obscured by time as it already is, a number of good friends of mine who were in fact fairly major members of the community are no longer around don't even have a running joke that remains as apparent as Shink's does.

And it was less Shink was a bad engineer but a result of his Captain, aka Yiski, being absolutely insane and being unable to keep up.

That said if I was to ever leave I'd like to do it as quietly as possible with little fanfare.

When the day comes that I decide to depart to the lands of the fallen;

If I had a legacy in this game, it would probably be a mixture of hate or kindness...

Hungry for Marmite? Think of The Mann.

Speaking of legacies I would put it down to Yiski flying as Zill's wingman and Zill being too good at getting out of tricky situations. Looking at some of the Merry Men tournament replay videos you sometimes see Zill getting into a bad situation then bailing just in time to watch his ally blunder into a 2v1.

I remember those days... Ahh good times.

You got to remember, it was Shink's fault.
