"The Cogs" Week 6 - Preview
« on: April 22, 2013, 09:41:31 pm »
What's this? Another Cogs preview, fashionably late of course. (Click to enlarge)

Sorry about the delay. The match between Occasionally Effect and Muse was arranged during the time I usually spend knocking up most or all of the preview. It'll happen again, but not too often.

I suppose I'll have to keep saying this every week, but those hashes and numbers and letters are unnecessary clutter if they're listed off to the left anyways.  It'd look a lot better if the team logos could actually fit inside their cogs.  Last week's scores would be cool too.

Paddling versus Gentlemen makes me nervous, I don't want to see another long sniping match like last time.  Hopefully the map will favor closer-quarters combat.  I'm rooting for a Corvus win against MNS.  I'm most excited about watching Museosaurs versus Black Flight Squadron.  I don't recognize any names from BFS, so we're going to either be surprised by new talent or Muse finally winning a match.  It looks like it'll be a lot of fun to watch either way.

The Black Flight Squadron has a very strong roster. I expect that it should be fairly easy for them (sorry, Muse). I don't see Corvus beating MNS, but anything could happen.

And please, please make Gents vs. Paddling be on Canyon.

There's a significant difference between what a word means and what it's used for, Swallow.

I'm very nervous about the Gentlemen vs The paddling match, but hopefully the ducks will rise victorious once again. Praise the mighty ducks, QUACK QUACK!
