Zoo and Kubitsuri - for gunning on my flak fish when I first started to play. Teaching me that only good pilots get good gunners.

Squash -  for showing me the power of the long range galleon.

Sammy B.T and Frogger for making me jealous of there Junkers.

Crafeksterty - For inspiring me to bring a spire to the SCS

Inkjet - For showing me how important a buff engineer can be.

Sparklerfish - For making me take mine builds instead of hard countering.

Well...

SPQR for taking me in first, though I didn't stay long, you guys are cool.
OG SREP for derpy fun and silliness.
Clan Clan for showing me mines and teaching me to git good scrub.
Rydr for showing up on time to give us our weekly spanking but seriously fynx pls
Everyone who gives up their weekends to help make competitive events happen.

Nietz for flying us around and dealing with our endless complaints and being generally incredibly chill.
Vanya for showing me it's just a game.
Steamy for showing me it's okay to want to win even if it's just a game. Also for being a super MLG pilot even if he's allergic to squids.
Tfaltys for being my other engi half.
Hummin for shooting things good.

The dozens of green names that make dropping into a lobby so friendly.

It really is the people who make this game worth coming back to again and again.

Daniel for how to mobula.
Fynx and Keb for inspiration to fly kill squid.
Renaulde Northwind for the triple mine pyra.
Everyone who used blenderfish for the experience fighting them.
Playing with AI and the importance of constant engine burning.
Muse for nerfing the pyra so I stopped using it.

Who do I credit? Most of them are not in forum.

Mr.Disaster and his brother Alko./alkomaster for getting me into this game, teaching basic ropes and definitely ot having patience for me, which forced me to rush my ass to learn them and not anger my friend.

LeonXross - Goddammit this guy was furious when you fucked up. But also it was a great fun to fly his fun-builds, it was rewarding to do good job aboard his ship. Thanks to him I've learnt how to move aboard Mobula, and how to operate it as pilot. Rest In Piece my friend (no, he is not dead, he just stopped playing it). The most satisfying - to hear him saying out loud he trusts you, and calling you an "awesome engineer". Damn I miss those times.

Waffleghost - for being a great pilot, charming and good person, contrary to me. It was fun to play with him.

CalicoJack, JimJimmington and other Specialists - for being patient, friendly, showing me how to chem, and being worthy opponents for the beginner-pilot-me.

Ceresbane - The embodiment  of "how not to act if you don't want to be seen as a total asshole". No offense.

I'm still a pub player, the one who knows some shit around, still keen to learn. Also, a half-retarded lunatic.

I remember playing with Leon!
4v4 and we all had mobulas with all Hades, we positioned ourselves one on top of another so it was a tower of four mobula reigning fire on the poor enemy who came near.
I was one of 2 deaths that round...

Me, Sir Steffen and Leon once took 3 squids on a 4 v 4 Flayed Hills.

Each ship was called Crp Arrow One, Two or Three.

Was a blast using Tar Barrels and Moonshine

Hm, okay.

An unnamed (unremembered) hero: Teaching me the ranges and deployment heights of mines across the four ranges loadout, showing me just how much fun I can have throwing balls around.

The Mann: Admittedly we don't know each other all too well, but during my lowest point in GoIO, when I was set to pack in the game due to being shit sick of playing against stack after stack, he became the first person with a degree of game knowledge to sit down and take a session out with me. I had more success and a lot of fun, and I learned a little about flying more conservatively and communication.

Skrimskraw: Made no efforts to protect my feelings when flying with him shortly after I joined Predators. Did me a lot of good in terms of improvement, as he made me realise that I wasn't mediocre, I was actually bad at the game. Nowadays is somewhat of an enigma to me. But, cheers anyway.

TheMightyKeb: Basically showed me how the squid is not a steaming pile of gorilla excrement designed to trap stupid players in an endless cycle of losses. I learned a lot about piloting, how to use tools and how to weight up an engagement simply by being a part of his crew. Additionally, taught me effective and efficient squid crewing.

The rest of T.Pr: For being the first every clan I ever joined in any game, ever. Also for putting up with my intoxication, be it alcohol or otherwise, on a frequent basis... Also, certain members in particular, for appealing to my biases and basically confirming how much I hate almost all anime and the surrounding culture.

Everyone who ever replied to my threads begging for tips: I was guilty of it. Approaching the forum with a very specific issue with my play or whatever, and making a thread in the hopes that the big boys would pick me up and escort me to mummy for a bandage on my scraped knee. Either way, you all did a lot of good in changing the way I look at the community, the game and myself (as a player). Thank God only a couple of you are total dickheads.  :)

Anyone who ever replied to threads I made asking for tips, you guys helped start me down the path to not being horrible at the game.

I have a long way to walk down that path yet.

The Bards for being the first clan I've been in ever, and generally being cool guys.

MightyKeb, for discussing game mechanics with me and swapping tips for hours.

Logicalia, who said he was gonna train me but we have yet to actually do so.  Not his fault, I fact I put him here because I know this can only help (When we get around to doing so)

Everyone who's put up with my bad gunning, piloting, and engineering ever.  I was the scrublord of all scrubs for a short time.

I have now ascended to being roughly 80% scrub free.

Honourable Mentions:

Carn and Koali for being part of the Cantina revival, and helping me build my own character from an odd, wandering tinker with a mass of mysterious resources, to an engineer and part time tinker dedicated to his craft and spreading the teachings of how not to be an idiot.

I blame me for breaking everything. I also credit MetaFive for getting me into this game way back in beta, and Bubbles and Watchmaker for taking a chance on me and letting me intern at Muse as a programmer.

Heh. Mann - the author of one of the most memorable moments of mine (hehe) in this game.

> surround enemy ship with mines
> shot one more
> play "SURPRISE MUTHAFUCKA' " clip via text chat
> watch everyone laugh maniacally

Crediting Starker, for gifting me, adumb and Extirminator the game, and all three of them for making me pilot. Blaming the first two, for them not continuing playing the game.

That random dude whose name, I think, started with an "A" who, when I was his ally on a random Fjords match, explained to me that when you have an all explosive Spire (Hwacha, Artemis, Mortar, but with a bottom side Carronade) you need some piercing damage to win every game. Without this guy I wouldn't have looked into the internet to understand how ships, pilot tools and ammo types work. Not engineer tools, because nobody cares abouth those, since Mallet, Buff and Fire Extinguisher is the best combination, always.

GeoRmr for inviting me to the Rydr clan (which totally nobody has ever had any problems with).

Lueosi and Hillerton for occasionally stacking the lobby so they could get some team practise, while I was on the enemy team, which thankfully was 3v3 rather often. Because of things like that I actually had to think about how to actually win against people that know how to play the game, which tends to be an exciting experience.

Allien', JarmenKell and Extirminator (again) and GeoRmr (again too) for probably objectively being the best crew anybody could get when starting to play this game competitively.

All those competitive teams for giving me the option to improve upon myself by either watching them play or by playing against them myself.

Literally everybody who ever joined my ship or was my ally and listened to my orders and executed them like I wanted them to, even though I can often be hard to understand. They are the reason why I understood the concept of teamwork in this game and why I could have fun when playing the game with or without stupid loadouts, silly allies and mean enemies.

LordFunPants for being the guy that designed the Mobula, because Mobula OP.

The guy that called Extirminator "Extinguisher", never even played with him, but he must be awesome.

He stopped being pissed 24/7 with me onboard, so I guess I started doing things right.

I am never pissed, just disappointed when you fail me.
