You could argue any professions is the closest man can get to being a god. I however would argue that game developer is the closest man can get to being a god. You create a world, dictate how its physics work, dictate how its denizens think, control what gets placed where, remove elements you don't think fit your vision, and generally wield unlimited power over the environment.

They help us understand our own understanding.
If understanding is a thing, why isn't overstanding?

By first achieving middlestanding, so you can go back to understanding if you don't feel like it, or try to overstanding if you want a challenge.
How many levels of "-standing" are there?

Ultrastand, sounds good.
If we can under/overstand, can we under/oversit?

That can easily vary between 1 and 50 or even more, largely depending on the size of the wardrobe and how many pieces the giraffe is in.
What did C R O W mean then?

1- open the wardrobe
2- put the giraffe in
3- close the wardrobe

Sun rays travel at the speed of light but only transfer a little bit of energy since photons have almost no mass. Something with the mass of concrete traveling at the speed of a sun ray would transfer a tremendous amount of energy to what ever it hit. A one kg concrete block traveling at the speed of light would have 2.99x10^8 newtons of force or the thrust of 8 Saturn 5 Rockets. That amount of force passing through a steel airship would not just melt the airship , it would shatter the airship.
How would you accelerate a concrete block to the speed of light?

A perpetual motion machine that produces thrust, an extremely large section of empty space, and lots of time.
How does one make a perpetual motion machine?
