Here's an example. Disable mob vs galleon is a hard counter. Hwatcha fish vs junker is a soft counter. The junker could get the advantage at range, but a good hwatcha fish can quickly get close and break everything with burst. Once the junker is disabled it can only rely on an ally to prevent it from forcing to tank. A good mine on a junker can be used as an attempt to soft counter a charging fish.
