Making mines more !fun!

Clearly mines are the best part of goio by far. How do we make them even better? It might be interesting if there was some way to interact with them besides avoiding..

First off we should lower their hp drastically. Right now technically they can be shot at, but it takes like 40 normal gatling bullets to kill one.

I propose a few other ways to influence mines:

Set it on fire to make it rise (hot air rises, right). Finally a use for incendiary!

Pop its balloon with direct to make it drop. Already works, takes one heavy clip shot from light carro.

Shoot the spiky part to make it explode. Should not take much damage at all, it's a mine designed to explode on contact. A mine exploded like this should probably do reduced damage though..

Shoot it with minotaur to make it move a short distance in any direction. Mines pushed this way do reduced damage (say 60%).  Bonus new gamemode: mine football!

Yes oh all the love of god yes for the minotaur.. Snooker with mines would be awesome!
Fill a lobby with mine-minotaur spires and play snooker to see who wins. Instead of holes, aim for the enemy ships. 8)

This would require mines behave like their own little ships rather than a static object, would be a pain to code... But worth it...

Snooker is a very good game. Youtube it. You're likely more accustomed to the faster paced, less tactical "Pool" :)

Ahhhh, that gives me an idea of how it's played at least. I'll check it out later. But yes, Muse, do this with the mines. Please.

There are better ways:
-2 artemis shots do the job
-a clip of heavy clip L.Flak is surprisingly easy to trigger mines with and very fast
-Merc if you have arc

I was utterly unable to figure out what kind(s) of health it has or how much though, none of the numbers add up for me.

Incendiary is used on mines to reduce the arming time. It will also increase the drop so you can launch depth charges. More ways to influence mines would be fun to see tho.

I would like it if one fieldgun shot would pop a mine. Then a munker's ally could have something fun to do. Remote detonation.

Mines that can move would be pretty bad because they will be affected by winds and will constantly just move into rocks or buildings. Can't set up consistent mine traps/"walls" without them constantly moving about, sometimes even to the direction of your own ship to hit right back at you.

Also like what was said before:

Muse isn't gonna remake mines because coop/it's on the list - but it doesn't matter because those two are the same arguments.
