I would rather have minigames in the queue/Spinning Wheel Simulator 2015 than in the lobbies.  Lobbies are usually pretty fun on their own - either you're working out your ship builds or you're chatting, and if you're doing neither of those things, you're playing Lobbies of Icarus wrong :P

A button that.. rolls 1d6 and announces the result on the match chat? Engage precombat dicerolls, resolving of dual gunnery shennigans, simple to complex games.

I think youre onto something here. It could get rather a lot from very little coding or screen space.

Seriously though, it wouldn't be that hard. It could work as a command in chat like "/roll d6" and chat would give the answer, depending on the chat you're using (if on match, it reponds on match, if on team it responds on team, etc.)

The quickest way to quench temptation is to give in to it!

Reminds me of old dota days of rolling for mid...

But seriously though, /roll 100 or rock-paper-scissors-esque solution would be pretty great and simple. People love that kind of stuff

it doesnt fix the problem of the guy being that stubborn that refuses to change.

same with that scrub that declines a perfectly sensible loadout to replace their terrible one.

Well, the problem we're solving right now is in-lobby boredom, not stubborn teammates so why not add this feature? It didn't stop people last picking pudge and going mid regardless of the result in dota either.

Oh yeah, lobby hangman.  If anyone's been stuck in a long lobby with me, you'll know this is one of my favorites.  One person picks a word and you play with underscores in chat.  I usually put the letters that have already been guessed in brackets after.  Haven't figured out a good way to make the actual man to be hanged, but it usually gets guessed or the match starts by that point anyhow.

_ _ _ _ _ _

Who wants to guess a letter? :D

you know whats an entertaining read?

enemy loadouts and the manual.

in the old lobby wen you needed most of the lobby ready for the timer to start. sure entertaining mini games would work.

right now... I barely got time to even look up enemy loadouts and min max every freaking new noob gunner to change class and get the right tools and ammo.

and by the time I sort that out. I realise too late I got hard countered in the time I got distracted by my crew.

That is not entertaining to the casual player.

I only look at enemy loadouts when I have my tryhard hat on. Even when it is on I still don't always look. Why? Because it isn't a mini game. I sure as shit would play some Rock Paper Scissors though.

You seem like an angry person.
