[insert clan] rub it in
« on: June 25, 2015, 07:27:31 pm »
So, what do you say to the more well known clans when you defeat them?
Of course, I do not mean that in a malicious intent. Just as a bit of a "rub it in" joke.
For me, it goes like...

Bards: Sing your swan songs.
Cake: Happy birthday, prepare to die!
POSH: Uh, we never fight against them. They are too awesome.
Rydrs: Take that rydr try'dr!
SkBO: I don't say anything, for obvious reasons.

And so on and so forth. What do you say, no you know what, f**k that, what WOULD you say if given the chance?

..Huh. Usually I say nothing, unless the battle has both sides struggling to the last second to win somehow and everyone is all excited and going all out. Then I usually congratulate the game with a GG, but if I had to rub it in: I'd usually tell The Bully Boys: "Black Flight Squadron? More like, Bullshit Squadron!"

I have nothing to say, except I'm honored (and slightly concerned) to be at the top of your well known clans list

Also I ban Rethburn for swearing

*Swats Logic with a rolled-up magazine.*

No! Bad!

I'd probably say "Huh-wha? Oh, hey, we won."

I tend not to rub things in.. Pub matches I say Happy Birthday because #cakereasons.
In competitive, if I loose and am don't forget I say GG or Happy Birthday.
If I win I say a simple sentence: "Nothing without my crew." Because more often than not praises are given to the pilot when things go well and blame given to crew when not, so I remind my crew they're the back bone of my ship.
Every ship I play relies on good crew to follow simple, but important orders and cycles.. Without them my ships wouldn't work and I'd loose.

This thread wasn't meant to make me feel like an a-hole. Great.

There's nothing wrong with banter! I think its just the communities high sportsmanship qualities that makes banter less commonplace than it may be in other games. 8)

But most (not all!) of the higher experience level players tend to be rather humble in the public eye. :)
However if you ever get the pleasure of crewing for Demention (Daniel) be prepared for a world of laughs and fun as he declares. "Open fire! Blow them to pieces! Bwahahahaha! Turn that puny ship to dust! Bang boom! Bwahaha!"

AI: *call out the most major fk up even if we win or rather because we didnt win more.

@kamo
I just call dementio denial.

that way I can be half correct no matter what he prefers.

that being said skbo are the biggest shittalkers in the game. dont even front.
