A match striking is heard, and all the lamps light at once.
"There we go."
The interior of the Wanderlust is carpeted and cramped, filled with merchandise of all kinds.  Coats, guns, parts, engines, non-perishable supplies... Everything one could need.
"Here we are."
Procuring a finely crafted cold weather suit, Gaige reveals it with a flourish.
"Constructed sturdily from walrus, seal, and bear skins, this piece of kit is waterproof, weatherproof, and is guaranteed to protect against the worst our world has to offer."

"Looks like the model my grandpa used." he gives it a sniff "Yep, there's the smell of pastol oil. I guess it'll do. Hard to find top of the line suits outside of Anglea."

"I will have you know that this is top of the line.  The oil smell is from the sealskin, it's supposed to be there."

(Is that aimed at anyone in particular? Also mind your language, we're civilized bar bums.)

There is a sound of someone sliding down the ladder, followed by a soft thump.

"Yo! I'm here!"

(Ahem, I'm going on the fact that Angleans are the most likely to have the best sub-zero tech. We already had a plan to go there, which as I've said will need to be done anyways for engine change.)

"Don't get me wrong. It's in good condition, and it's better than anything you will find outside of Anglea. It should do him just fine. So long as we're not out there for over a month."

"I have to agree, it's pretty nice. Now, is there anything that would fit my stilts?" asked the Kirby, pulling the exoskeleton... Thing... out of nowhere.

"Preferably with a hole for my face."

"I don't, but the stilts are a combination of steam power and clockwork, which probably wouldn't do too well in the cold. It's fine at altitude because of the exhaust steam redirection system that can keep the system warm, but it sounds like we're going somewhere much colder than usual."

"Feet, Carn. They're feet. And I'd really rather have the stilts."

"But if they are more likely to break, it would make sense to just tie sticks to your feet stumps."

"No, sorry.  That needs custom work.  It'd take weeks."
(No need to be jerkish about it, though.  And besides, Gaige is a trader.  He gets things most people haven't even heard of.)

In the distance, one of you notices a junker, slowly but surely making its way towards you.
