Summer, 102 degrees, fans running, cats trying to get in direct line of the fan, by laying ontop of me.  Wake up itchy, sweaty and covered in fur.

9 inches.  9 god damn inches of snow, and now it's all gone!  I both love and hate this area of the world, and marvel at its finicky climate flipping attitudes.

Canada.

The winters will make you think the world is a cruel place.
Spring will constantly switch between winter, summer, and lots of rain.
Summer will be way to freaking hot and make you wish for winter and kill you with mosquitoes.
Autumn will switch between winter and summer and more rain and more mosquitoes.

Usually I walk to school wearing four layers, plus a hat and gloves. By the time I'm nearly there, I only need three layers, no hat, no gloves. When I walk home, I need two layers, no gloves or hat. Once I'm nearly there, I need three layers, a hat, no gloves. Beat that, Americans!

I live in a place where tourists come every spring and look at the tulips, the fact of the matter is while it livens up the town, it somewhat annoys the locals, me included.

On The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life

(back when it was considered heresy)
