Top Ten Symptoms of Guns of Icarus Withdrawl
« on: July 17, 2015, 07:18:13 am »
So, 6 weeks without Guns, and another one to go, I think I can present you all with this:

Top Ten Symptoms of Guns of Icarus Withdrawl.

1) Looking at clouds suspiciously.

2) Being shocked when you fall off something, fade to black, and wake up in a hospital instead of back where you started.

3) Reports from others of tossing in your sleep mumbling "gat mortar. Gat mortar. Gat mortar."

4) Twitching your PPT finger when you want somebody's attention.

5) Wondering how to get the vehicle you're driving to ascend

6) Wonderment at the relatively lacking lifting powers of balloons.

7) Wonderment at the relatively lacking ability to repair popped balloons

8 ) Your total and utter calm when dealing with fire, but watching people question you as you only spray the extinguisher once every few seconds.

9) Their further confusion as you scold them all for not "chemming correctly."

10) Random shouting of "MAN THE AFT GUNS!"

If you experience 5 or more of these symptoms, contact your Muse professional or representative as soon as you can.

Thank you, and enjoy the skies you lucky swabbies.

I have like 3 1/2 of these, even when I play regularly.

I now plan on becoming a fireman purely to do this without ever providing context.

Wait, hold on.

The Pit?

Not only is this post not some sort of silly game (no offence to silly games), but it's also quite "on topic."

7) Wonderment at the relatively lacking ability to repair popped balloons

You mean you dont hit balloons with a wrench to fix them?

I might have an elleventh one:

11: Hearing the Guns of Icarus lobby music in the back of your head whenever the room is silent.

That car is not in my blind spot, he is in my trifecta overlap point. Everyone to your guns I want him dead before he realizes we are here!

Sometimes when I play Borderlands, I try to scroll in the zoom on my scope, and getting mad that it doesn't work.

6 weeks Kirk? Seriously? I'm going on 10 months here. Also:

Using various sky related swears:

"Skies above you're an idiot."

"Bloody Cloud Headed Maniac."

Etc.
