RP Tavern (Name never set in stone!)

[George Mills]

The lid pings off, and instead of the surging out like expected, them remain docile at the bottom of the jar.
"See?" Have you got a rusty nail, or a bolt I can borrow?"

[Carn]

finger itching on the pin he notices that the mites haven't surged toward any metal at all. fishing out an old rusty tap from below the counter he hands it to the man who still has not mentioned his name. Grenade still at the ready.

"Here, im going on a limb here, on account that they aren't acting normal."

[George Mills]

He drops the tap in, and the effect is instantaneous. The mites sure towards the tap, and completely cover it. After a few moments they retreat. The man fishes out the tap, now shining.

[George Mills]

"I'm hoping to sell the beauties for a fortune, they'll be invaluable on large scale restoration projects."

[Carn]

putting away the grenade Carn looks astonished at the tap

"Chaladonian? Cant think who else might have the kind of know how to do this.  Do you know how to make more or convert regular rust mites to these?"

[George Mills]

"Chaladonian? Nah, I'm not with them, chemicals might have come from there though. I'm independent, was raised a merchant though."
He replaces the lid and shakes the jar
"Here" he hands the jar to the bartender "Do you want them for your statue project? I can easily make more..."

[Carn]

shakes his head

"I dont have the kind of funds to buy that, at this point we need to refine a design first.  However...."

he looks the man up and down

"Some colleagues of mine and i are going on a job into yesha, if you can wait until i get back, I can escort you to Kinforth and you can pitch the idea to the tech heads and politicians up there.  Better yet, if you can pilot a squid you can come with us on the job, we need another pilot."

[George Mills]

He smiles. "That would be great, thanks. I've never piloted a squid before, I'm a junker man myself, but how difficult can it be? Also take them, I insist, free of charge" he places the jar on the counter.

[Carn]

Pockets jar into a pocket devoid of metal

"Ehh, if you've never piloted one before then i dont know if youd like this, squids are lightning fast and turn on a dime, plus they crumple quick when hit.  Theres a decent chance we may get into a spat with yeshan patrols, however if you want, you can be the secondary pilot on my Goldfish, still need some crew on her, and i much prefer to be the one shooting in a fight."

[George Mills]

"That sounds better, I've piloted a few goldfish in my time"

[George Mills]

He looks around, and lowers his voice
"Speaking of which, last week I was looking around in the labyrinth, you know it?"

[Koali]

*There is a sound of falling gravel as [Koali] dusts himself off, yawning.*

"'Scuse me, I'm a living creature, not a rusty metal statue. That's stone, by the way."

*Notices the sketches of the small assault craft.*

"How did you know...? I don't remember telling you about my flying ability and its limitations..."

Since Koali is a Kirby, he can inhale a large quantity of air and heat it up to become buoyant, allowing him to float. However, to do this, he must keep his mouth shut, which unfortunately prevents him from accessing his personal armory.

"Really, I'm astounded. You must be some kind of psychic!"

*Carn just stares, dumbfounded. He can fly, too?!*

taking out a rough contract and a pen he hands it to the man

"Thats good to know, if you can sign this that would be good.  Simply put, it states the rules of pay, salvage, and loot i operate by.  Any enemy you personally kill you have first rights to loot, if the ship shoots down another we get first rights over any others we may be sailing with, beyond that any coin and other profits gained will be split evenly.  I will also need you name for obvious reason."

[George Mills]

He notices that the statue has come to life, and quickly shuts up
"Fascinating" he looks at the creature.

He looks round, and takes the pen and paper
He reads it under his breath
"Will not be held responsible for death/dismemberment...safety not guaranteed...looting rights...yeah sounds pretty normal...My name is George Coutts, innovator of Coutts industries.
He signs the paper.
