"Oh, good, I though you'd blacked out for a minute."

*Zooms around the ship, repairing engines with surprising speed, on par with the spider bots.*

"Well, if you can keep up with Kero... Watch out, guys, popping Moonshine!"

*Slams a button and the gurgling stops, to be replaced with a roar as the engines burst into flame, spewing it behind them and pushing us forward almost twice as fast.*

While they wait to arrive, Carn and Ingur each stand by a turning engine, bonking it when necessary

(Ingur) "Great. Again with the hair."

(Carn) chuckles

"OK guys, we're here!  Who's going first?"

*I've pulled up beside the pointy wreckage of a Pyramidion, tilted forward and standing on it's nose.*

(Carn) "A tad close for the Tartarus and Jupiter, don't you think?"

(Ingur) hops onto the Maelstrom and decimates the wreck "But not for this."

(Carn) notices a ruined gun on the field, as well as some black stains, calling up "Hey Shaded, mind if I use your workshop? I have a sadistic idea."

"There's a Galleon off to port, y'know.  And yeah, go ahead.

[Carn]

(Gunhild) fires and obliterates the wreckage "If only we could test these on fresh targets."

(Carn) hops onto the Tartarus "That would be a tad expensive Major." launches a barrage into another target "Where have you been all my life?"

(Ingur) sighs as her fiance shows in what she considers excessive gun love

(Carn) "If you can drop me back off I'll get to work. What I have in mind shouldn't take to long."

"If you can fix up my ship fast ill pay you double."

He adjusted his war room suit and said. "oh..well my other one was completely white...and well it got.." he tilted his head down. "Messy. Im a tailor so all i had was red and black dye...and it it does help when blood splatters on my suit." He pointed to his gold fish ship.

"Now how in seven hells are you gonna fix that monstrous hole?"

[Carn]

a quickly scribbled note left by spades, it reads

"I forgot to introduce myself, Captain Carn Gormson of the Anglean Military 1st Marauder Unit. If it helps to get back at those bandits then I'm more then willing to help you out. Some of us have gone out to test some experimental weapons, should be back soon. Sorry I had to leave this, something about this place, people can space out for odd lengths of time. Anyways, I took a quick look at your ship, she'll need some more armor plating, but good news is that she hasn't taken a lot of perma-hull damage. When we get back lets talk business, if I'm not available, talk to the red head. The younger, less violent one. Here's hoping that the albatross and the raven can fly together out here in no man's zone."

You look at the note happy to know that things are getting done...but what are you to do now?

You decide this place needs a piano so you bring one from your ship inside the tavern.

BTW, Jupiter is Primary MASSIVE shatter, secondary large pierce, basically one clip of gat in an instant.  Jitter is HUGE, and recoil is so great, that if you fired two of them simultaneously you'd be able to side ram.  1 shot clip, 10 second reload.  Large AOE.

(Carn) after jogging off to where Shaded's workshop is in the distance, Carn begins working for several hours, when he is done he signals to Shaded to come and pick him up, along with the new device which is covered in a tarp

(Gunhild) "You ever think about contracting out? I'm 100% positive I could set up an arrangement for you with the republic. You like pre war tech? We got it. You like seafood? We've got that too."

(Ingur) "Not to mention I have several friends in the trading business, if more trade routes can be established, all the better."

"Not contracting out, no... But that sounds good, actually.  And trading routes I am ALWAYS open to."

*Starts up the engines and turns for Carn, rising as I do.*

Spades finishes the last note and gets up from thr piano. He looks at his rapier blade. Boarding is a offense to humanity....but you dont care.

"HRAAH" you make a slice up in the air with 100% precision. You take out a deck of cards and throw one in the air. You chop it in half.

You decide to look outside. The Sky is a little cloudy and dark and the town below sparkles in the night like thousands of little jewels. You see a ship coming out of port along side your goldfish....your precious goldfish given to you by your adoptive father..as for your suit you lied about that one.. it is another day in this world of wins and losses. And you feel like its gonna be a long and boring day.

You go back inside.
