(Carn) "You were spouting gibberish and dancing around a rock a bird just pooped on. I dunked you because frankly, I didn't think that throwing one bucket load on you would snap you out of it. And your considerably lighter then a bucket full of water."

*BANG* the tavern doors open to a new patron.

His pilot boots clop on the wooden surface of the saloon. His black with red lining War room suit did not match with the rags here in this tavern. he was wearing a mask (avas demon) and a pilots hat.

Everyone just stared at him...like this guy was about to kill someone...everyone started to reach for there gun.

The man sat down on a bar stool. he opened up a slit in his mask revealing his mouth. He beckoned the bar tender over.

Everyone was on edge now...

Then the gentleman said.."Do you have 2% milk here? Its been one hot day and im thirsty"

[Koali]

"Uh... Carn, while you weren't looking, I sampled some nightshade. I have no idea why. Oh, look, a new patron!"

There we go, that's the kind of entrance we've been looking for!

{[AI] Master Bartender Elite Nestor} "We do indeed have milk, sir, but its quality is... Questionable. It's powdered dry ration milk; I'd recommend that you drink something else, unless you happen to have a cow?"

[Carn]

(Carn) "There's milk in this place? And Koali, Nightshade results in paralysis and a stopped heart, depending on the dosage." looks at the rum barrel which has been recently emptied "Umm, did you eat the congealed dregs at the bottom? If so, then that may explain things."

[Koali]

"I'm not of your species, and may very not be from this world. I knew a guy who could get drunk by eating sugar."

[Carn]

(Carn) "The congealed dregs can have...... other effects."

(Ingur) "Sugar? Really?"

(Gunhild) "Lightweight."

"Hello sir.  There is an absolutely divine cider that I totally recommend."

(Carn) "Uhhhhh, got any more rum back there Nestor? We've seem to umm, drank all of the stuff I made."

(Ingur) "How are you still walking in a straight line?"

(Carn) "Riiiiggghhhhhht, coming from you, while you've got a mug of mead. That's rich."

(Gunhild) "He has a point, Your Majesty." begins chuckling

The Lofty Gentleman says "Ah righto ill have some of your cider"

You turn to the chap who suggested the cider to you.

"So whats your name?

[Carn]

(Carn) waves hand in front of Shaded's face, getting no reaction "Out again?" turns back to the new guy "His name is Shaded, sometimes he spaces out." looks at the automaton barkeep Nestor and sighs "And the barkeep seems locked up to." reaches behind the bar and grabs the guy a bottle of cider "Here, I'm about 80% sure this is cider."

"Buh!  Sorry, sorry.  ShadedExalt, merchant, tinkerer, and mercenary, at your service.  And you?"

I like your method of lampshading the fact that this is on a forum and we're not always online.
