So, I had a dream...

Thread is kinda ironic, as I am 'Indreams'.


I had a dream this morning. I was on some sort of gigantic Mobula as a foot soldier with a movable Banshee carousel.

There were little Pyramidions and Goldfishes chasing us, so I went to the rear and gave them three or four barrages.

They exploded into scrap, and I made my way to the helm to pilot the ship.

Then I woke up and realized I play too much Guns of Icarus. (but is there such thing as too much GOIO?)


Has anybody else had a dream about playing GOIO?

I know other cakes have mentioned having GOIO related dreams, but alas haven't.

Well i might have done- I only remember my dreams like 3 or 4 times a year.

I remember having one and discussing it with Daemacil the following day, but I don't remember what it was about specifically.

yeeeeaaaah there's no denying that, if there is such a thing as playing too much GoIO, I'd definitely be one of the people that do.

The way I see it, playing GoIO is like dakka: you can never have too much.  I unfortunately haven't dreamt about GoIO, but I never dream anyway.

Can confirm I have had a GoIO dream. It was... really weird.

I dreamed once that I was piloting a junker with flamers lower deck, mortars top, and Artemis front.  It totally wrecked people in the dream, and actually sounds like it would be a decent build against people who don't chem spray.

It's the noob destroyer since they cant chem.

With a good mine gunner that's an anyone-destroyer.  Impact damage keeps their gun arcs off you and the piercing damage breaks their armor pretty quick.

When I dream about  GOI. It is usually about chatting in lobby. There was also that Zill dream.

I once had a dream about being in a math class, doing calculus about the gun and movement arcs of the mobula.

I had a dream all the powder monkeys I tossed off my ships rose from the dead and I had to put them down again with a shotgun and a rusty spanner. I called it Night of the Living Powder Monkey...

Well not really, but I did have a Left 4 Dead one once. Was a fun one, every time I needed a new weapon, it would just appear in my hands.
