Current/Prior Service Military
« on: October 18, 2013, 06:38:22 am »
Any other servicemembers around these parts? If you did the job, stop on by. No work talk, but let's at least get an idea of who we ought to tip a beer to every now and again.

0311/USMC here. Arbitrary salutes to any who follow this post.

SW2 USN SeaBees 2004-2012.  Wasn't allowed a reenlistment after a skull fracture and a lung burned up, but hey it was one hell of a ride.

2 years as a cadet at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado. I was "active duty," but in reality I just went to a college that dictated pretty much your entire life. I was on my way to being an officer but was also let go for medical reasons.

Obviously I wasn't really a military member, but I lived the life of one and I salute all those who have served. I would love to see about returning to the Air Force, but first I'm focusing on finishing my damn degree! Blue skies...

RAF, awesome. We've got a Chopper mech/MSG cat floating around in here, too. Anybody else out there?

Maybe a STOP - DRINK night is in order.

All hands have  their beverage of choice. At any point in the game, anyone can say stop. If stop is called, raise your hands in front of you to show that you're no longer controlling your game (used to do this in the same room). Stop is the preparatory command for DRINK. If drink is called, you uh, you drink.

Obviously, the goal here isn't to win.

U.S. Army, Infantry All The Way. Two wars and one crappy peace keeping mission. Did I mention I always scored expert in every weapon I ever put my hands on?

Damn, Twinkie is a badass gunner in real life also.  Somehow I'm not surprised.

You're in good company in that regard, Twinkie. Got expert on the pistol while holding it sideways.

Where were you in Iraq/Afghan?
