Cross Platform Multiplayer
« on: October 10, 2013, 10:18:47 pm »
Hello!

I'm playing GOI:Online on my Mac and would like to play online with my friend playing on Windows. Can I do that? Or would I have to play the game on bootcamp in order to play with other Windows players.

Steam is steam. No difference which OS you're running it on.

Even more to the point: we maintain only one set of servers that all versions of the game connect to.  So Mac, Windows, and Linux players are all in the same pool.

I'm sure I read on Muse's Facebook page that it would be cross-platform with the PS4 as well, which is pretty darn awesome and went down a storm with my console buddies who have been keen to join me in the skies since they saw Guns of Icarus Online at the Eurogamer Expo a year or so ago.
