grabbing the mobu weapon from the railing still work fine. I've used that spot even prior to the patch in case the gun needed a rapair.

"jump onto the tank behind the hull and jump up to grab the helm from underneath." does this goldfish trick still work? I didn't know it so far and just gave it a try. I wasn't able to grab the helm.

Yeah, the Goldfish trick was probably patched out. Too bad, it was kind of neat.

I'll jump in Sandbox today to check out which tricks were removed. I already know that the Junker hull trick is harder, as is the Mobula hull trick. From the sounds of it, the Squid and Goldfish helm-hull ones are out.

Really? The Squid one too?

I thought that's what the break in the railing was for...

The guide is updated for version 1.3.2.

Muse, why would you make me shorten my guide? That's so mean :(

I've revised my advanced Squid engine repair circuit. It's now slightly more efficient, and far more reliable.

One thing I haven't seen in here mentioned is with all ladders, they can be climbed onto from the side. As I am a top deck engineer on a Junker, I'm constantly running up ladders, and as long as you come in at a slight angle you can climb ladders really easily. The same can be done with a Pyramidion top deck or on a Mobula. Not so much Galleons or Spires though. But it saves a lot of time instead of waiting to face the ladder then climbing!

Yep, I love doing that to save time on the Junker. It doesn't really fit with the rest of the content though.

Mobula:

2. A pilot can mount the front gun by simply timing his jump and press E. He does not need to stand on a rail.

(iv've tested it out so its verified information.)

That's the kind of thing that requires really specific positioning though. It's far, far more reliable to use the rail.

You can also hit the Goldfish's balloon from underneath, for example, but I don't consider that trick worth using because of how inconsistent it is.

with a bit of practicing you can do it, but from the rail its really simple indeed.
