steam workshop support?

Thought it would be cool if GoI had access to the workshop! So people could upload their own ship designs,weapons and maps? Obviously custom ships and weapons could only be used in practise. But having servers with custom maps set on them would be cool. Let's have some opinions!

Hats and various costume bits are a possibility.

Weapons... much less likely since our weapons pipeline and game balance is very complicated.

Maps, even less likely.  The pipeline for this is a HUGE mess.  There is nothing besides having a copy of the game project, pro license of Unity3d, and understanding of our asset pipeline to make a map.  We do want to make it easier, but when... who knows.
