My first and so far only screenshot is thus;

It's neat. One of my first games I helped down an enemy ship (As an Engineer). Felt like I did it but the large version reveals that I didn't get the killing blow. Ah well.

If you had used charged ammo you would have gotten the kill. Killed many ships via a meta midion with a slow mortar shooter.

I pretty much have no idea what you just said.

Charged ammo makes the Gatling do more damage, therefore making you more likely to get the kill. Ceresbane was critiquing the skill of mortar gunners (who's job is to hit the un armoured hull) by saying he can kill them with charged ammo. This take place on a metamidion, (gat mortar pyramidion.)

Actually, greased does more damage per clip and damage per second than charged anyway. While charged would get you 125% damage per shot, the clip size decrease ends up being a net loss.
Also, why are we critiquing someone for not getting a kill with a gun who's last job is to finish off a ship?

Because they didn't do their job of killing :D

And yeah I was aware of the situation with greased ammo, people usually go for charged when they want to kill though, not sure why. :p

can I get some clarification?

it seems greased and heavy lowers range now.

I fired heavy with heavy carron and it can't hit as far charged. Some vets keep on calling me crazy but I swear.

Took a range finder with me to Blumer's Blastyard: Greased rounds decrease effective range by 20% whereas heavy clip has the same range as normal.

And now for something completely different!

Yeah greased has always lowered shot speed, it's why a greased hades is better fit close range because the projectiles drop more.

Yeah, currently my computer is being repaired so I'm using my brother's old laptop. 35 fps was the 'highest' I got, mostly got around 20 with ocasional drops to <10ish.
I guess it's understandable that I decided that on this computer GOIO is unplayable and deleted the game...
