Another pyromaniac here who got convinced by other pyros to join this pyro-cooking pyro group. Reply if you want another helping cook and don't mind eating charred cake.

Serenum and Mary Read actually introduced me to the game and have flown and been taught mainly by them, have flown against and with (team) others too.

Feel free to hit me up in-game so I can fly with you.

This is gorgeous. I want it to be reality. Come, brothers and sisters - we shall rise up and make All the flames happen!

I sometimes wonder about this, I require at the least, a flamethrower, canister of Cake, and another flamethrower.

More flamers are required. Also a flare gun, two Hades and some Kerosene.

Cake is in a bit of a strange place as it stands, on one hand we have a great number of members, great people who are wonderful to fly with on a regular basis, the issue at hand however is we don't have people willing to do anything about our competitive team, which is a disaster of people who don't work well with each other and/or don't show up for practice if they do plan on competing, sometimes we've had to pull in people who weren't planning on competing that day to someone bailing out of nowhere or we're just strapped for people. The Cake competitive team is non existent due to the fact we don't have a stable core of players who are available to play competitively, or conversely don't practice enough to actually get a feel for how the other person works.

Anyways, any other questions?

When available, I can sub, just drag me in. Also, methinks that steam forums aren't really cutting it, maybe something like a cake clan website would be effective, or a google form application (Might also help with people joining, they could apply by filling out a form with the available times, and we could schedule accordingly, maybe make a google form that dumps to a spreadsheet?)

There's already a talk going along the "higher ups" of cake to sort some of the issues out, some of the ideas have been including those you have listed.

No worries :D

Abby, I may or may not have sent Kirk a message detailing these concerns a few weeks ago, and also ranted to B'Elanna about these as well. Anyways....

how can cake be dying while it runs an event every Friday that is streamed and successfully fills up under 60 seconds, that parallels the dev games which offers prizes where the iron fork does not, A clan that is still recruiting faster than any other clan in the game,

This forum post alone is one of the most viewed and commented on, cake is probably the most famous clan in the game and the biggest, yes not known for competitive but known for the spirit of the game the spirit of fun and the spirit of fire,
some of my best memory's of the game where when i was with cake and some of the people i would call true friends are still or where part of this clan,

This clan proved you do not have to compete to be the biggest or famous not to mention have some of the best and experienced players in there ranks. its about making friends having fun and helping new players. AND Burning everything...Always haha

I hope the issue of competitive cake will get sorted out for those who want it, but as i learned perhaps if you need to compete cake might not be the best clan for you hence the perfect rule of duel membership, even though you compete with a diffrent clan does not mean you can not put that Cake tag on and have fun with some of your friends or nicest people in the game ^^,
