It has come to my attention that there are many people like myself eg: Captain Phoenix, Wazulu and many others, have come to love the sound of a certain Texans voice. We have Started this thread as a mere appreciation for this man. Here you may post your own appreciation of Twinkie...

I'm pretty sure there's already a post similar to this, some lost shrine out in the wastes of the Pit or Lounge. Sunderland! You know this Labyrinth like the back of your hand (see what I did there?), and as such I require your services!

Similar to this? What are you thinking specifically? There have, of course, been threads like this one, which I nearly locked as it should have been in a PM. That's the first thread meant for praising a specific member that comes to mind.

Oh, as in I'm pretty sure I've seen a conversation or two focusing around Twinkie's voice, and, to my knowledge, he lives in Germany, but is clearly a Texan. Let me check and correct myself if need be.

I am from Tennessee. I had never had the unfortunate displeasure of going to Texas.

When I fly, and hear Twinkie's voice calm my ears, I become secure. A full man.

Oh crikey, I've enraged the Twink-God. Sacrifice me to stop the volcanoes exploding and the sky falling. Oh, and that's the one, Sunder. Cheers!

Twinkie D-Lite, Man, Gunner, First mate.

The only man I truly want on my ship no-man could ever prove that they are better than this man. The beauty of this mans golden, caressing voice
can truly calm the nerves of any frazzled captain. If you ever wanted a man who does what you says, does not ask stupid questions and does not give stupid answers then look no further than the greatest gunner to fire a mortar at maximum range.

No honor is higher than that of the Twinkie complement. This is the congratulation of himself by using what you would say had you wanted the man to achieve this great feat.

Twinkie you are a great man and I could never find a better crewman to fly with.
