Fan-made Promotional videos for Guns of Icarus
« on: March 23, 2015, 03:57:52 pm »
So I occasionally look back to a trailer series to the most saddeningly forever lost IP, the Space marine trilogy (and prolly dawn of war).

It had such a hype marketing campaign with a few video series like this.

Y u no do dis muse?

I'm just thinking... who is bothered enough to make something like this for the game? I'm debating to myself whether it should be about classes, ships or maps or guns.

I listened to this while going to the gym and I thought: damn it would sound good on a GOIO video

There's actually a goio reference in the comments. Well a reference to Maximillion Valentine, which was a youtubers character. The Valentine's Day theme was named after him too.

Ryders Lueosi has recently finished a POV trailer which can be found on our YouTube channel, search guns of Icarus Rydr and you'll find our channel. :)

Can look at doing one from spectate rather than POV :)

I think a some promotional Cutscenes like the ones from Halo Wars would be nice. Or just on purely promotional cutscene Trailer, like one the one from Halo Wars.

IMO the best game promo video is EvE's "I was there" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSxSyv4LC1c
