Camera Mode:

As a Spectator, you can disable the UI to take some really Nice screenshots.

My Suggestion:

Have a Button to turn off UI on ship to take some screenshots on board.


Realism Mode:

For a new challenge, A Hard Mode can remove the UI thus giving the players a new form of realism.
 Players will need to rely on

Black Smoke from Damaged Components.
Coloured smoke from different tools:
Red or Blue Flags and Materials on ships to distinguish enemies

Realism mode:
On one hand it could give the vetestest of vets something kewl to play with. On the other hand it could divide the already small community, yadda yadda, extra work, devs won't do it.

I've had a bug rejoining ships a few times where the UI disappeared with the exception of component damage indicators and spots. It did indeed look really nice.
A toggle UI key would be nice.
