Bandoleer/Tool belt

The Bandoleer is an engineer tool that allows the wearer to carry an extra type of ammo.

The Tool Belt is gunner item that allows the wearer to carry an extra engineering tool.

Good idea, bad idea, don't know. Just randomly inserted itself into my brain.

The results would be:

Gunner with Tool Belt- 2 engineering tool, 2 ammo types

Gunner with Bandloleer- 0 engineering tools, 4 ammo types. (-1 tool, + 1 ammo)

Engineer with Bandoleer- 2 engineering tools, 2 ammo types. (+1 tool, -1 ammo)

Engineer with Tool belt- 4 engineering tools, 0 ammo types.

Pilot with Bandoleer- no engineering tools, 2 ammo types.

Pilot with Tool Belt- 2 Engineering tools, no ammo types.

Wearing both items would obviously cancel out.

So, we would create two equal 'classes' with 2 tools and 2 ammos each, a dedicated gunner and engineer, and some interesting options for a Pilot.

I think this is a really cool idea.  It would add a lot of flexibility to classes and make gunner a more viable option and useful in more situations.

If we do this literally no one will use the gunner, everyone will use engineer or gungineer (2 slots engineer 2 slots gunner). I think Muse will never allow such tool.

I'm not sure how to feel like this. It blends Engineer and Gunner together, however giving the pilot an extra engineering tool would be pretty great given that the pilot should never be manning a gun long enough to load special ammo anyways.

There no point to it.

I seriously dont know what the point to it.
Both tools turn it into the same class.

The only class that benefits from this is the pilot.


Really bad idea and doesnt diffrentiate what a gunner or an engineer is.

yaeh i think this would be truly broken because most gunso nly need 2 ammo :P

Don't worry I thought it was a cool idea.

But like others said I think it would make them the same class.

I like how people were like "oh but then noone will bring anyone but an engineer" without realizing the gunner variant is exactly the same lol.

Since they are carrying 'more', also slow character movement. This would make the gunner and pilot benefit more than an engie, since they don't move much.

Also, only two variants turn the gunner/engie into the same class (gungineer). The others make a super gunner and super engie. It might not be a great benefit now for the gunner, but may be once all the super specialized ammo types are introduced.

Didn't he do that already? Multiple times? How bad could another gamebreak be.
Add engineer and gunner items that add a pilot tool for that 5 tool pilot.
