Costume Dye: Team Specific and Team Inverted
« on: February 05, 2014, 06:54:22 pm »
Hey all, this dye is designed to be a easy to use dye that sets a costumes colors to the team color for a given round. It also has a contrast inversion dye. Pretty simple concept.

The implementation may be slightly tricky, but not insurmountable, just implementing a minor function at the match start to set the customization costume color. It could even be extended from the ship colorization function, if it exists.

The only time other people have time to really admire your outfit is in the post game. With ship scramble being the default no one feels any particular loyalty to the team they were just flying under. Most people feel loyalty to the captain/ship they are flying with. Perhaps all crew should get a ship patch chosen by the captain somewhere on their uniform.

That sounds awfully interesting. Some kind of ship or clan 'Seal' on a costume would be a clever way to identify allegiance - assuming such a mechanic could not be abused with offensive badges.

You mean a clan emblem?
